Whats this mean

    Hello everyone, does Know what’s this mean the number 5490? I know the number below STD (6490) is the altitud in meters, But I can't find what 5940 at the top of the PDF means

    If I understand this correctly from my Airbus knowledge:

    • The number below STD (6490 m), that’s your current altitude. The plane is flying at 6,490 meters.
    • The number at the top (5490 m), that’s your selected altitude. It’s the altitude that the autopilot or altitude selector is set to reach.
      In other words, the plane will descend from 6,490 m down to 5,490 m.

    So basically: top = target altitude, bottom = current altitude.
