I would really like to see an in game map of where you’re flying over added rather than going to the main menu and looking under the navigation setting.

Pressing “M” should give you the map you ask for.

I did ask for this some time ago, the reply was "you can easily go to the main menu and open the map there" not really practical i would say. the developers may also fear that a moving map in flight could cause lag due to the building density and added graphical strain due to the moving map.
I might have an Idea, assuming Aerofly fs global does send flight data over the network to other apps other than fswidgets app, like the PC version can, and if there is a way to open the moving map in floating window while aerofly is open (Android does this but with limited app support), assuming all those things are in place, then anyone can create a moving map, with the help of AI, that 's if you are not a coder, link it to aerofly fs global via broadcast ip and port, then problem solved. Otherwise the Devs have to do this officially and they don't really seem keen to do it.
I currently achieved this, I have an android app that has a moving map, i tested it on the pc version and it works, but i can't get it to work with aerofly fs global, i asked about this in this thread
ThreadSend flight data
Hi ipacs,
I am wondering if it is possible that aerofly fs global will send flight data to third party apps via the phones ip address and port 58585, is this feature exclusively for fswidgets app? is it possible?

I don’t think it would have to be detailed or anything. I was doing a flight and I flew straight over Paris without realising would’ve been cool to spot POI’s or something but didn’t have a clue without a map
