Hello IPACS team, how are you?
My name is Julia, and I have been using Aerofly for flight simulation for about two years. I would like to share a simple suggestion that, in my opinion, could significantly improve the simulator’s graphical realism.
Recently, I noticed that the landing lights do not appear as bright or intense as expected, especially in low-visibility conditions. With that in mind, I thought about the possibility of adding a “light beam” or “light trail” effect, visible when flying through clouds, fog, or other reduced-visibility environments. This detail could greatly enhance immersion during flights.
I also believe this effect could be applied to strobe lights and landing/takeoff lights. Visually, something simple such as a triangular PNG texture aligned with the camera could already create a convincing result without requiring major technical complexity.
It’s a simple suggestion, but I believe it could make a noticeable difference in the user experience. I hope you consider this idea!
Thank you very much for your attention.
Best regards,
Julia
