Hi Aerofly Team and Community,
I would like to suggest an improvement or a high-quality update for Da Nang International Airport (VVDN) in Vietnam. Currently, the depiction of VVDN in Aerofly FS feels a bit basic, and I believe this airport deserves a more detailed "handmade" treatment for several reasons:
- High Traffic Hub: VVDN is the third busiest airport in Vietnam. It serves as the primary gateway to Central Vietnam, handling over 13 million passengers annually and more than 200 flights daily. It is a crucial node for any pilot flying routes within Southeast Asia.
- Strategic & Technical Appeal: The airport features dual parallel runways (17/35) capable of handling heavy aircraft like the B747 or A350. Its proximity to the city center (only 2-3km away) makes the approach and departure visually stunning.
- Modern Infrastructure: The international terminal (T2) is a 5-star rated facility with unique architecture. Updating this would significantly enhance the immersion when flying into this region.
- Popular Destination: Da Nang is a major tourism hub, connecting to key cities like Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei, and Singapore. Many Aerofly users enjoy these regional routes, and a detailed VVDN would make these flights much more enjoyable.
Given its importance and the beautiful coastal scenery surrounding it, I hope the team can consider updating VVDN to a higher standard in a future update.
