Hello IPACS Team,
I found a serious lighting and texture bug affecting the Airbus cockpit interiors at night, especially visible in the A320neo, and potentially across the entire Airbus fleet.
When the Floodlight on the right side of the pedestal is turned on, several cockpit textures and surfaces display incorrectly. The affected areas become visually inconsistent compared to how they normally appear with the floodlight turned off. This issue is especially noticeable around the areas marked in red in the screenshot below.

However, when the Floodlight on the right side of the pedestal is turned off, the cockpit textures immediately return to their correct appearance, as shown in the screenshot marked in green below.![]()
Because of this, nighttime cockpit operations are heavily impacted visually and immersion is significantly reduced, especially during low-light procedures and realistic night operations. The problem appears to be related to the lighting/shader interaction of the right pedestal floodlight with cockpit materials and textures.
Could you please investigate and fix this as soon as possible? It would also be very important to deeply check the entire Airbus fleet for the same issue, as the bug may not be limited to the A320neo alone. The affected aircraft could include:
- A319
- A320
- A321
- A320neo
- A321XLR
Since these aircraft share many cockpit assets and lighting systems, the issue may be present throughout the whole Airbus family.
Thank you in advance for the quick resolution of this issue.
