An aircraft brake accumulator is a critical backup hydraulic power source. It stores pressurized hydraulic fluid and compressed nitrogen to ensure the brakes operate even if the main hydraulic system fails. It also powers the parking brake while the aircraft is parked and engines are shut down.
I've wired in the brake accumulator gauges and pressure to the yellow system (alternate brakes + parking brake). Still need to dig deeper into the FCOM/QRH. For now, the accumulator gives you around 5 or 6 applications before all braking is lost.
