Hello IPACS Team,
I have encountered an audio issue in Aerofly FS 4 on macOS.
The simulator works normally when I start it with headphones connected. However, if I unplug the headphones while Aerofly FS 4 is running, all sound disappears. Reconnecting the headphones does not restore the audio, and switching the macOS output device also does not help.
The issue only affects Aerofly FS 4. Other applications on my Mac continue to play sound normally.
The only way I have found to restore audio is to completely restart the simulator.
Steps to reproduce:
- Launch Aerofly FS 4 with headphones connected.
- Enter a flight.
- Unplug the headphones while the simulator is running.
- Audio stops completely.
- Reconnect the headphones or switch audio devices.
- Audio does not return until the simulator is restarted.
Could you please investigate whether Aerofly FS 4 is properly handling audio device changes on macOS?
