The United (and maybe other airlines) 737 NG’s inlet lip on the front of the engines is not shiny like in real life. Is this a bug and would it be changed?

Reflections take a lot of performance so they could have decided to make this on purpose non reflective.
I would have done that too.

Would be cool if for high-end devices like IPad Pros and PCs to have these reflections.

As far as I could see, only United has the shiny inlet in real life (I doubt they’re the only airline with the shiny inlet) and all of the 737 NG liveries have no shiny inlet in game.
