Decided to take a look at the 787 for the first time, am very impressed with the texturing and initial systems modeling. It looks amazing in VR. For anyone who has used it, is it at the same level as the stock A350? I hope to bring it up to the same systems level as my A350 Mod. Before I start searching through TMD files, I'd like to know what I'm up against.

Also, have the devs ever commented on adding the remaining ECAM screens and relevant systems on the A380? I'd love to do an Advanced version of that aircraft too.

Well, I trawled through the 787, and it will actually be a lot easier than I thought. The only difference is I want to get the fuel usage working as an overlay rather than inside the main system.tmd, just in case the devs drop an update that adds their own fuel usage.

If anyone has a 787 QRH, pls contact me via PM. Thanks

Looks like I'm adding this to my shopping basket now - https://shop.thrustmaster.com/en_gb/tca-yoke…2caAuxqEALw_wcB

First pass completed on the 787. Link is via private msg. For Mac & PC only. Hydraulic pressure is labeled incorrectly in the default 787; labels have been corrected

    Included -

    • A350-style active fuel burn, rebuilt for 787 tanks/pumps
    • center-first fuel feed using 787 center pump switches
    • wing feed fallback per side
    • engine oil consumption for left/right engines
    • low oil quantity and low oil pressure effects
    • 787 CAS messages:
      • ENG OIL QTY L
      • ENG OIL QTY R
      • ENG OIL PRESS L
      • ENG OIL PRESS R
    • live brake temperature model replacing the fixed stock brake temps
    • fixed stock 787 hydraulic CAS bugs:
      • HYD PRESS SYS C+R now uses the correct C+R logic
      • right hydraulic message now says HYD PRESS SYS R

    Hi 777Driver

Looks very promising. Is this a TMD mod of sorts, or is it more like the A350-Failure Generator? (Or did i misinterpreted something here? 🤔)

    Kind Regards,

This modifies the main system.tmd, the only failure happens if you allow engine oil to reach a critical level, or run out of fuel.

This was a test to see if I could easily adapt my work from the A350 mod.

I'll properly work on the787 once i've finished all the Airbus fleet

A319/320/321 now all have functioning fuel flow/Flame out and engine oil depletion.

No refueling button on the overhead, so I've linked it to the Mech button instead

Nice! Anywhere to download the mod for the 320 family? Would love to test it out for you

I see, interesting. So, if I understand well, both the B787, the A350 and the A319/320/321 now all have functioning fuel flow and can be prepped for a proper flight with normal fuel flow and depletion if not planned properly? Do the numbers need to be manually inserted in the FMS/MCDU or does it suffice to use the Fuel Loader in the main menu?

May I test these features accordingly for each aircraft? I get it these are separate system.tmd files, that do not overwrite the main tmd files.

Thank you in advance for your assistance and collaboration.

    Kind Regards,

    AeRodri

I'll send you a copy tonight

A350 fuel system is fully built and tested, Including the FMGS predictions

787,A319,320,A321 currently only burn fuel, and drain oil. I have not done test flights or checked fuel predictions.

It took around 100 hours of test flying the A350 to get it accurate, I'll.slowly work on the other aircraft when I get some free time.

For now, it works. But i need to read through the FCOM/FCTM/QRH for the 787 and smaller busses.

I am also holding back on a few things, the devs will eventually add there own fuel burn and tank drain, so I dont want to waste too much time on this.
