(In my opnion both are important, A340 It was forgotten and had the misfortune of arriving in the twin-engine era… and B747-8 We're talking about the cabin of an iconic airplane (the queen).
I like both aircrafts.
I think first we need the 340-600 cause we have not so many long range airbus

Considering they haven't even bothered to rework the current Boeing 747-400, which has remained unchanged for 6 years, it's extremely unlikely they'll add the 747-8I, especially since they've already stated there's no redesign work underway on the 747-400. As for the A340, it would have to be developed from scratch, just like the A350, which took approximately 9 months to complete, and that's a very long waiting period for the community. It's practically impossible to develop a highly detailed and complex aircraft like the A340 in 1 or 2 months.

When it comes to „new aircrafts“ I guess the devs might be adding the A359. It would follow the B78X pattern.
Nonetheless, there is an endless amount of reasonable things ppl on this forum wish for. And I wouldn’t be able to decide which one to prioritize tbh.
As the A346 is my favourite aircraft, I would love to see this in action

I prefer the A340-300, but if they add the classic A340 version, I think the A340-600 would be better in this case.
We need an A330-300 or A350-900 rather than the 747-8/A340. Both aircraft are unique and cool in their own right, yet with an A330 or A359 you can fly more realistic destinations. Each month we are losing more and more routes that used to be operated by the A340/B747. That’s why I would like to see an A330-300 or A350-900 before any other aircraft.
As far as I understand, it is „easier“ to develop the A359 as systems are already working with the A35k.
The A34x would mean new development from scratch, which takes longer. Remember what Jan told us - developing a completely new aircraft takes around 9mo

I understand your point, however I'm citing aircraft that were very popular, obviously we have others like (A220/E195 B767/757, B727 etc) but the A330 is already confirmed it won't have any progress at the moment... A350-900, man, just adding repeated things to a game is so boring, we want something new and different for the simulator.

However, I don't think adding the A350-900 makes much sense right now because we have the A350-1000, and it would require development time that could instead be used to improve performance or develop new aircraft.

The main thing holding back the A350-900 is the sheer number of aircraft repaints. The system modeling for the A350-900 is already in place; the entries are visible in the A350-1000 folder. There is also an A350-1000 ULR

I know the A330 is a community-made project. By “the developers” I was referring to the people developing the aircraft, not IPACS. Calling it misinformation seems unfair, as the issue appears to be a misunderstanding of my wording rather than the information itself.
