New to FS4 soon — looking for must-have mods, addons & general tips before I start

Scenery by BilibiliCaptainRay and chrispriv , there are lots of liveries that you can find by searching the forum. Shiroko-CA738 and 777Driver have made advanced mods through tweaking and changing tmd files. ZK Aviation has made mods that change camera shake, touchdown sounds, engine sounds, and some liveries. There are plenty of mods and addons if you just search through the forum. There are alot more people not included in this message that have done plenty within what you're looking for.

And by doing a little research on this forum you will also find ApfelFlieger , Rodeo and Schnuffelduffel who also created and presented some very beautiful things.

My friend Mar17 has done a lot of changes in tmd files, mostly Camera inertia and shake. He hasn't published anything but you can message him and he will gladly tell you which values to change in the specific aircraft tmd files.

I add the note that the original TMD files should never be changed, but all changes should only be made as an addon in the user directory.

How can you add the tmd as an addon to the targeted aircraft?

If you search with the words "aircrafts folder" in the forum, you will get suitable treads on the topic.

AFS4 is a little different to the other sims, most of you need is already in the sim, no need to chase addons
