Since the FS 4 version 4.08.04.01 (20260624) also works on my Mac the sorting.
According to my observation, the sorting takes place in several stages based on the line <[string8][tags][]> of the TMC files:
- 'airplane' <> 'helicopter'
- if 'airplane', then first ...
'airliner' <> 'fighter' <> 'gerneal_aviation' <> 'glider' - ... and second
'jet' <> 'piston' <> 'turboprop
My questions to IPACS are:
- Are these observations true or are the groupings different?
- Why is the LEARJET shown between the two aircraft Me262 (fighter) and Bf109E (fighter), even though it is registered as 'general_aviation'?
