Right now the doors on all the 787s are openable yet.
maybe in future updates IPACS will add this feature

Maybe you are confusing it with the B777
In the B787 family all aircraft doors including the cargo doors are functional and can be opened
Hallo guys how can I open and close the cb doors on the b787-10
Also to be able to open the doors on the B787 please:
- ensure that the aircraft is not connected to the pushback truck
- the beacon lights are turned off as the doors can only be operated when the beacon lights are off (as the doors can only be opened once the beacon lights are switched off)
- and make sure that the engines are shut down on both sides

parking breaks off, bacon lights off, engine off, press door button in the cockpit, press squares(doors) that you want to open (the squares are inside the airplane shape on the mfd)

You can open the MFD door page and click doors. If the parking brake on, engines off, beacon light off then you open/close the doors, if they are on then you arm/disarm the slides.
