Hi, I've noticed that the ventilation noise in the Airbus family is a bit annoying, and there's no way to turn it off; adjusting the knobs does nothing. Is there any way to reduce the sound?

Turn off Batt 1+2 and have no electrical systems running

That wind-like sound keeps occurring when starting the APU or connecting ground power. It is louder on the A380. 😓
Yes that’s why I said Off Battery 1/2 have no electrical power running so that your Avionics cooling system doesn’t run=silent!

The avionics fans are quit loud in the real world and we already made the engine sounds way louder than they should be in the cockpit to make it less annoying. We don't want to deviate from reality even more though.
