Well, on the Boeing 737-800, since its launch, there has been a bug in the Yaw Damper that when you click on it to activate the aircraft, it just stays off, it doesn't go on.

It's not a bug. The yaw damper needs yaw rate data from the IRS systems. If the IRS is off the yaw damper switch is designed to trip off
