Plane flying at low speed an low altitude when on copilot

  • Hello Everyone,

I was flying a fully fuelled and half full PAX 737 Max 9 from SEA-KEF (Seattle - Keflavik). I let the flight run while I left and when I returned, the aircraft was at FL240 with the nose pitched up high. In addition to the altitude, the aircraft was stuck between 180-190 knots, no matter what I did, the speed wouldn’t go up, even turning of copilot and flying manually didn’t work. This had happened multiple times like on the 777-300er and 787-9 but I always thought it was because the aircraft was to heavy. The copilot was engaged on route mode when this happens.

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Make a route from SEA-KEF with a cruise altitude of FL34
    2. Set weight to fully fuelled and on about half capacity of passengers
    3. Spawn at SEA in the Icelandair 737 Max 9
    4. Takeoff and engage copilot to route mode and wait

This occurs in both Beta and Regular Aerofly FSG, device specifications are listed in my signature

  • Thanks for the report, can you please share more details about the route your are flying? Can you please post a screenshot of the navigation menu for the route that you used for this flight as well as a screenshot of the recent flights menu (pilot career) where the aircraft may have crashed and reset in the air, where it then probably started to fly on its own?

On the screenshots the copilot is not engaged, the stick and throttle would be green and there would be a blue copilot bubble at the top, indicating what it's currently doing.

The copilot was engaged but the pictures were taken after I took control. The copilot never disengaged itself but rather I took it off. As far as the route, I only have the flight log and not the original route. The route started on Seattle’s RWY 34R using JEPPO1 as a departure. The cruising altitude was around FL353. I had fallen asleep soon after departure but I woke up to check on it about 8 hours later only to see that the aircraft was at low speeds and low altitude. The arrival was supposed to be on RWY 19 using INGA4K at KEF. I did manage to recreate the route but I’m not sure if it’s 100% accurate to that flight.
