I am wondering if the user created planes for Aerofly 5 will work on RC7. I don't see a single Discus Launched Glider or Side Arm Launch one. User created planes and sceneries were one of the best attributes of the earlier Aerofly versions but never really took off in version 5.
Also will there be an airplane design program or airplane converter to use the large content of planes that were created for AFPD?
User created planes ?

User created models and sceneries will be possible soon. We changed a few minor things on the file format. Once we have this documented, we will release a patch and instructions to the designers so they can get started with adding contents to aerofly RC 7.

Thank you that is good to hear!

Provide the possibility to easily repaint aircraft in aerofly with an integrated interface would be perfect.
French:
Offrir la possibilité de repeindre facilement les avions dans aerofly avec une interface intégrée, ce serait parfait. -
Could it be that there is a problem also with repainted planes?
I repainted the Alpina 4001 and the Prolution.
They are shown correctly, but will not be loaded. A small motor plane appears instead.

One must not just copy the full plane with multi-colours from AF 5 to RC 7!
One must copy only the colour file(s) from AF 5 model into the RC 7 model airplane file!
Kind regards Jürgen -

Kind regards JürgenHi Jürgen,
did you move the new color files to a subfolder as shown below (recommended by IPACS!) and did you create the corresponding tps file?
If you extract repaints (e. g. Martini.zip) from the Free Downloads area, it will be placed into
<user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles (x86)\aerofly RC 7\aircraft\futura\Martini
(This example is from a Windows 7 System).

Arthur,
sorry, I can not open your attachments (invalid ....)
No, finally I did nothing else than to shift the AF 5 colours into corresponding RC 7 airplane.

Hi Jürgen,
sorry, my mistake.
Now you should see the pictures too.
What you did is not correct!
It must be like shown in my post #7!

Thank you!
Probably there are different ways to get the same result.
I did not load colours from the "download" (yet). I did them myself in AF 5 with the instructions from early time.
And the result works fine. Now also in RC 7.
E.g. my Prolution4004.

Hi Jürgen,
I know that the way you do it works too, but only until the next update!!
In case of an update the models will be installed again and then your modifications are away!
If you use the user folder your modification is still available.Regards

Arthur,
please excuse my ignorance, but:
where is the instruction from IPACS you mentioned before to be found?

Small question:
how can have we the BMP files of all models ?
since it is not possible to extract the ttx filesThank you.
-
Sven,
danke!
Gruss Jürgen -

Thank you.It is not possible to convert the ttx files back.
Me too is searching for an instruction how to repaint a model.
Once upon a time there was long discussion about this theme:

But i doubt that it is useful for you.Hoping for a better answer from officials...
