[aerofly fs 2] Blurry ground textures ( iphone 5s )

I notice that some ground textures are blurry whereas other areas look detailed and sharp. This is on an iPad mini with retina which has the same resources as the iPhone 5s. The iPad Air 2 does improve on this but I'm wondering if it is only certain locations that are blurry for you?

Just to add to that, some areas when you fly over look great from the air, I love that you don't get the same repeating textures unlike another sim.

Just checked this out for myself on the 5s.

Two shots close together at about the same altitude. This first is blurry but the second is much clearer:

Some examples of clearer ground textures. In one when zoomed in, you can see individual trees along the river. Personally I think this looks great for a mobile device.

I didn't do anything special but I'm not sure if the app dynamically changes what is being rendered. It may be worth restarting your iPhone and then go straight in Aerofly and see what happens. It does seem to be region specific though - one thing you can do is go to the location page and zoom in on the map and select what appears to be a detailed area as your starting point and see how it looks once you are in game. As I say, some of the ground areas look great from the air.

Just some background regarding ground texture resolution:

To limit the size of Aerofly 2, only some areas of the scenery are delivered with high resolution images. currently, the high res images are only available around the Bay area. The area of Sacramento does NOT feature the same resolution, it is a factor of 2 two 4 lower. We plan to offer the higher res option as a download in a future update, so users with more memory can download it.

Aerofly 2 also chooses the images depending on your iOS device. We currently have three steps. iPad 2 and iPad Mini get fairly low res textures due to the limited memory ( not the storage space! ). All other devices get a better resolution. An exception is the new iPad Air 2 and the new iPhone 6+, these devices get the highest res images.

We hope this clarifies some of your questions.

Thanks support. What are the plans for future regions? I would love to see a couple of more regions available. Are there any details of when the first update will be out and what it will contain?

I wish you would add Switzerland as I can then delete AF1 and free up so much memory. Out of interest why did you choose Californis for the new scenery instead of somewhere in Europe which then bolt on to the Switzerland scenery to create a large flying area.
