prop pitch effects...

  • I tried cycling the prop lever in the C90, B58, Pitts and Extra, as well as in the P38, but noticed no apparent effects, in G, braking effect from full fine settings, whatsoever?

Are this effects modelled at all ? Is it just because the included models are still WIP, but the hooks in the FDM are there ?

  • The simulation does not simply say "add brake now", its far more complex than that. You would need to adjust the friction of the engine and driveshaft and the aerodynamic properties of the propeller and its airfoil so change the amount of braking force that the propeller creates when the throttle is at idle and the prop rpm is set to low.

"No effect whatsoever" is not really correct, the Extra or Pitts for example did brake quite a bit last time I tried. And the physical "braking" effect is noticable in other airplanes as well, its just might not as powerfull as in real life yet
