Resolution non westUSA very low; literally the same as the location map in menu. WAD?

Hi

Loving the game.

I want to fly across the Middle East for... reasons. I notice the resolution outside of west USA is really REALLY low. For me it could be the same as the location map in the menu it is that low.

Is this WAD? If so, is there any way to make it any better? Will it get better with further updates etc?
