Hi guys.
As anyone noticed a random loss of joystick in the Sim.
I saw a YouTube clip where thus also happened.
Thanks.
Controllers keep being dropped

We never had this problem while testing all the joysticks on our systems. If there emerges any pattern out of the random losses, please let us know.

It happens to me sometimes using an old Saitek joystick. If I change to another sim it is working. I restart FS 2 a couple of times and it comes back. Pulling the usb lead out does not help.

With me it's mostly the opposite, although on some occasions I experienced this when starting Aerofly FS 2, most of the time what happens when I end a session in Aerofly FS 2 and then start one in FSX:SE ( both Steam platform ) is that I don't have controllers in FSX:SE and sometimes even have to reboot the system.

I brought up this hardware recognition problem in the bug list (see topic).
i confirm that this problem is all present and has never been treated by ipacs support,
neither solved by the developpers. What happens: every second or third time the sim is launched, hardware is not recognized.

I had this problem, and it is pai in the ******, especially when I am using VR. Of course with joystick dropping I am loosing keyboard as well. So I have to turn off the game and on again, the I have to be lucky enough to have my joy working (even if detected and recognised in game).

I had my joystick connected to an older USB hub which was faulty / didn't work well on USB 3.0 and that caused temporary loss in control for about 1 to 2 seconds. The mistake was a driver issue in the end, I also had problems with a freezing mouse when I connected it to the usb hub.
Maybe try another USB port? -
Might be linked to Windows 10 hibernation?
