Has anybody experienced what I am experiencing right now when trying to get the Switzerland and HD Texture updates, the download speed is so slow it will take two full days and some to get both these updates, my broadband connection is not superfast fibre optic but I do not have any problem downloading large scenery files from company's such as ORBX and other large files any help would be much appreciated.
The program itself took over 17 hours to download and it's great once you have it, I would definitely recommend it to anybody interested in our great hobby but what is wrong with the download speed.

That sounds like the Steam Store has quite a high traffic today. Maybe there is a way to change your location settings in Steam to get a different server?

The download from Steam of Aerofly FS2 and Switzerland scenery took me over 2 days with the computer left running over 2 nights. 45Gb is one hell of a download - I misread the file size otherwise I wouldn't have attempted it on my 3mB/s speed (the money was taken by Steam at normal speed however!).
