i was wondering whether the ingame-map ("moving map")
could be replaced by or added to actual flight charts (icao etc.).
copy rights are an issue, yes, but my question is of pure technical relevance.

Technically it would be no problem at all, but you already mentioned the main issue, copy rights. We would have to license those maps, and prices are extremely high and vary for each country.
BAZL/FOCA potentially allows ICAO-chart and VACs integration under certain conditions.
The training factor of sims is considered as high, aerofly's aim for a high quality solution is in line with that interpretation.
Despite copyrights are held at FOCA, FOCA does not operate as commercial unit like B/Jeppesen or LH FlightNav,
swiss charts are principally of public domain, just the service is charged.
If you develop interest in this feature, please do not hesitate to appoint the guys at BAZL and discuss possible forms
of usage ("not for use in real flight", etc.), at least you will get a precise idea of what the costs are.
Yes, that would be limited to swiss airspace.
If you don't want to invest into that sort of realism, no problem, you still have a good product.
