Ok I admit, it was a little closer than I wanted... but hey if you need to make that last turn on idle power (pretend ending failure) you have to trade either speed or altitude at some point, right? So I kept the speed
(RA is 9ft at this point, bank is 22 degrees, pitch 9, I'd not consider this a stable approach :D)

Getting back into it and loving it. Part of Hawaii completed, still need to add trees, high rise buildings and so forth.
I would love to have different building textures.

Orbx assured me and others several years ago that a Hawaii scenery was coming, yet it never happened despite the fact that Hawaii seems to be one of the most popular ortho sceneries out there, with numerous versions released.
Now that osm cultivation exists, the scenery seems like a no-brainer, yet it still has not happened.
I myself have at least three versions of the island. (no buildings)
It seems like this might be my best chance for a populated island!! (if you release it)

By the way, with maybe an hour's effort, you can use the clone tool in GIMP or other photo editor on your source (before final GeoConvert ) combined tiles to get rid of the white clouds on the ridges. Just clone (copy) nearby areas on top of the white and it will look much better when you fly near those cloudy areas.
