Good evening😊 Oh drat! Really? Lol why will it let me copy the contents of my TSC file but not paste it into my folder I created in Documents /Aerofly/Scenery/Places hmmmm
Creating a TSC file?

You're almost there, it took me some 8 FS2 starts to see my airport eventually
Check everything, comma's, empty lines, I even read that you can screw up by not using notepad++

I have notepad on my computer and have been opening my TSC file with it, not sure if it's the same version as the link you showed me but I tried doing it with wordpad but same issue, it gives me the option to copy but not paste, not sure what I'm doing wrong here😎😊
-
I'm not sure if I understand you right..
Do you try to paste the content of the TSC file into a folder?
That is not right, you have to put the TSC file in that folder.
Or is it impossible to paste into the TSC file?
Wordpad is not good, Notepad is not good, try Notepad++
-
No I can easily make the required changes to the TSC file but after I've done that I've set up a folder inside "Places" like it says in the tutorial then trying to copy and paste the contents of the TSC file into it but it won't paste, I will try as you said and just move the whole TSC file into "Places" instead of trying to copy and paste the contents

I've tried putting the TSC file into the folder but still no runway showing, I also tried putting the TSC file into "PLACES" but that ain't working either
-
Yes that is the way to do it, I've put my tsc file from Midden Zeeland in A subfolder from "Places" as you can see in the picture.
I'll go move directly into places to see if that works too, hold on.
-
It does not show.
Make a subfolder in 'Plases' name it "ehmz_middenzeeland"
Thats the ICAO code, then an underscore, then the name of you airport.
Al lowercase. No spaces. Put you tsc file in that folder and
also give your tsc file the same name.
Restart FS2

Ok Dree something has now showed up but Ive made an error in my coordinates, my runway is several kilometres long and not quite center lol,
I notice that in the tutorial that the -/negative coordinates are on the right hand side is this the right way to go? well at least something has shown up and that came about by changing the file names
-
Am wondering do I put the negative sign in front of the coordanates or just the numbers?
-
It depends were you are... I'm North-West so for me is everything positive.
If Geoposition gives a negative sign, ceep it.
-
Ok thats it for me tonight I'll give it another crack tomorrow, hopefully we are rained off lol cheers for your help! I'll get there
-
See you tomorrow

That went well, now to not forget I made a second an third airport, the third had two runways so I expanded the tsc with
endpoint 3 and 4, also threshold an name, that was wrong, you have to copy and paste the whole section and give the
runway element number 1, were the first runway is 0, looks like this:
<[list_tmsimulator_runway][runways][]
<[tmsimulator_runway][element][0]
<[vector2_float64][endpoint1][4.9499577 51.5653731]>
