    Summer sales on ORBX direct (ends 22 august). -48% on LOWI and MEIGS for AFS2, but not available on steam actually so need ftx central i think.

    Oooooooooo nice, still not picked either up as deliberating over XP with FI, now I may have to! Prefer Steam but 48% off aint nothing to sniff at!

    I'm very interested to know why you must buy on Steam. My FTX is a Steam version, but I download and install via FTX Central.

    You probably mean Aerofly FS 2 is Steam...? You ONLY have to (and can) use FTX Central if you bought the addons directly from Orbx. If you bought the addons on Steam you can't do anything with FTX Central. I bought Innsbruck on Steam (because it makes reinstalling and updating easier) and I don't even have FTX Central installed. No need for it.

    Another reason to prefer Steam is the slow update process through FTX Central.

    The Steam version was updated instantly and in FTX Central it took almost a week. :thumbdown:

    Innsbruck buildings appear to be gone with new update.
