Ok, looks like an issue. As a test, could you please completely remove the app and download all over again? Sorry for this, but we need to check if one of our downloads is maybe broken.
Are all airports missing, e.g. italian or spanish airports or just the ones from central europe, e.g. france, germany and so on ?

Give us some time regarding the buttons: An option for size adjustment and visibility might be an option. But the user interface is quite difficult to do right with all the device variations and control combinations.
-
The screenshot looks fine, this is done on purpose. The buttons are smaller compared to the previous version. We think that this would increase the overall visibility of the simulator.

@Fares: Is this with an iPhone 8? We might have to do some further optimization here for that device as it looks like a memory issue. Please disable AI traffic as a temporary work around. We will put this iPhone into a different performance class in the next update.
-
Actually we discovered this issue yesterday. We will fix it in the next update, thanks for reporting!

We have now been approved by Apple, that was quick this time. Aerofly FS 2022 should now be available in the Apple App Store real soon.
-
As for system requirements on iOS: They are slightly higher than FS 2021, e.g. especially the memory footprint is higher and the CPU is doing more work. An iPhone SE ( version 1 ) might no longer be a good solution, the current iPhone SE however is just fine. All new and currently available iPhone devices are just fine also, e.g. iPhone 12/13. Also all new and currently available iPad devices are just fine. Expect more performance optimizations once we get more user feedback in certain scenarios.
Some airports are very detailed, for example Frankfurt, so this might be a little too much detail for some devices.

Jet-Pack (IPACS) will soon publish more details on the new feature set.
As for the mobile release, the system requirements are 'a little' higher compared to Aerofly FS 2021 due to the new graphics features as well as the more complex aircraft. On iOS with a modern iPhone or iPad Aerofly FS 2022 will run very smooth. For Android we unfortunately cannot use the new light system yet, the device variations and GPU driver issues are just too big, so we will release Aerofly FS without this on Android. Also due to limitations on how Google Play offers app downloads, we have to find a way first to deliver the data to the user. It's unfortunately our responsibility here, so this is the major reason for the delayed release on Google Play. We will do our best to release Aerofly FS 2022 on Google Play this year.
-
We are still evaluating the exact system requirements for our new version, but so far it's looking very promising on iOS, e.g. all devices that supported Aerofly FS 2021 should work just fine. On Android we are faced with a few issues which we need to look into.
With this new version we will release a 'stable' version hopefully this year and try to publish more memory and GPU hungry features beginning next year. But again, we still need some time and we will only publish a new version if it runs stable and performs well.
And yes, quite a few french airports will be available.

All the images we are showing here have been done with the desktop version of Aerofly FS. But as previously mentioned, we try to keep desktop and mobile as feature compatible as possible. However at this point we can't really tell what features the mobile version will include due to hardware restrictions and unfortunately due to driver issues. As it looks now, all iOS devices support our new lighting system, which is good news. However our automated cultivation system does require quite a bit of memory and storage and it is not yet clear if we can get this stable across all the different iOS devices.
As for extra content and aerial images: Our aerial image format is still the same and 'most' addons should still work fine. However we will advise to rerun most 3rd party addon through our new tools since we have optimised a lot of things and made a few things simpler. Especially cultivation files offer many new features ( and will be further enhanced in the future ) and should be regenerated for our new version.
But we will publish more information in the upcoming weeks.

Yes, we will publish more information hopefully this week.

Could you please download the update again. We modifed the installer to install openvr_api.dll even if no VR is used on the system.
-
For some reason, the website is still not up to date, so here is the direct download link for the update:

Wir bitten um Verzeihung, fuer diese spaete Antwort, das Update fuer die normale DVD oder Downloadversion wurde schon laengst eingepflegt, aufgrund eines falsch konfigurierten Servers wurde es aber nie angeboten. Wir werden dies gleich naechste Woche korrigieren.

@Fastraph: It would be no problem to support 120 FPS, however with all the new features coming to future versions of Aerofly FS it is highly unlikely we can achieve a stable 120 FPS. We can actually only have either 120 FPS with reduced graphic and simulation features or try to achieve 60+ FPS with our planned features.
-
Jetjockey10: We plan to eventually publish all content and features on mobile and desktop platforms. However the biggest problems for mobile are the storage requirements as well as the performance implications due to the new features. We need to runs tests in the upcoming weeks to check and see what is possible or not.
-
Once our new lighting model is finished we will present images of our upcoming version. It's our goal to get most parts of Europe including over 700 airports into the next version.
-
Tom, you can get an updated XREF library right here. This library will be even bigger with our upcoming major new version which we intend to announce in the upcoming weeks. Alongside the library, the cultivation buildings support a bigger variety of shapes.

Please tell us your system configuration and the FPS that is shown inside Aerofly RC 8. From what you describe it looks like RC 8 is not running with at least 60 frames per second.
