Maybe IPACS lets you use one of their pilot figures since you are developing a whole airplane for Aerofly FS2?
Btw, the Bücker looks absolutely marvelous!
You can do that, the model file is selected in the tmc file

We used a font similar to the original but I'll see what we can do. Would more spacing between the letters would already be enough?
Good catch, found the mistake and corrected it. Stay tuned for the next update.
Not sure if the model of the f15 supports opening the canopy, flight plan following, yes, eventually. Same deal with the C172 and the gps navigation source.
The frequency is not auto-tuned in the MB339, nor is it in the learjet, q400 or c90. We plan on eventually tuning these frequencies for you when you select the final approach but as of right not this is not implemented.
The glide indicator is in the attitude indicator, on the left side as far as I remember. It should work but not all ILSes in Aerofly have a glide slope, some only have the localizer
Got it: Newton’s to lbs.
Ray
I think the correct unit would be lbf, pound force but yes, 29101 lbf per engine
Thanks Tom, I shall see if this works. Mike
PS. Nope didn't work. This is very frustrating. Every time my mouse pointer is moved to select an aircraft, I get a white extra mous e pointer, which stops just outside the box. Now if I move my mouse further and allow the white pointer to enter the Aircraft selection box and press Enter , I am in the Cessna and can fly it and that is my total simulation.
I have just deleted all references to Aerofly and will try installing again and after each input check to see if the mouse pointer returns.
This does not sound like a controller issue, more like a graphical issue with screen enlargement or something.
Please update your graphics card drivers to the latest version, check if the issue persists with both: window and full screen mode.
And please give us a bit more info on your hardware: monitor resolution, monitor count, using VR or not, graphics card name, cpu name, mouse name; as well as info about your software: Steam or DVD version of Aerofly?
I had a similar question about the Mb-339. Is ILS correctly implemented? I can see that direction and horizontal alignement works, but I can't make vertical alignment work, there seems to be a diamond on the dial but it does never move. Do you confirm that it is not implemented? Or did I miss something?
The ILS is now implemented in the MB339, has been added with the last major update.
You can change the navigation source in the HSI to NAV and then tune in the frequency on your right hand side. Change the course on the HSI and then you should have a working ILS
I think once you are in heading mode your left and right aileron trim does the heading changes. Should still work
The F15 autopilot implementation can hold heading or bank and pitch or altitude (baro or radar).
Push the line select key next to the UFC text "STR MODE", this should engage the autopilot and select heading mode.
Push the LSK next to ALT HOLD to engage altitude hold. You can switch from RDR (radar altitude hold) to BARO (altimeter)
And I think these toggle, that means if you push it again you get back to bank or pitch hold.
When you are in pitch or bank hold you can use the trim to change the attitude (steer with trim hat switch).
ILS or route following is not implemented yet in our version of this fighter autopilot.
Regarding speed: just enable the flight info bar at the top (default key "i"), that shows the flap speed range in white, normal airspeed range in green.
Max speed was 800kts I think and Mach 2.0, min airspeed is around 120kts
That is actually a good idea. Have never thought about assigning my mouse buttons to something.
I just tried it and assigned my mouse X buttons successfully in aerofly and I can confirm that they work for switching camera views for example.
That would be the overlay, you can reenable it in your settings.
Hey cool, which airport is that? Nice curved runway... HA!
The red message indicates that the autopilot disengaged without pilot intention.
We had a similar thread just a few days ago, where I listed all the reasons.
Do you have your controls neutralized? Make sure they are calibrated correctly.
If you deflect your controls the AP disengages. When you engage the autopilot neutralize your controls quickly (less than 1 second time to do so)
We have had many threads like this in the past and they usually ended in debate among users. To avoid this happening again we just close these kind of threads. Nothing personal.
Regarding the R22... well I flew it today, for the first time in a couple of months and it felt incredible realisitc, fluid and I immediately was able to hover and fly around and it felt like a real helicopter. With all the weird quirks of the real machine like more pedal as you throttle up, more cyclic to counter the side thrust of the tail rotor, transitional lift, ground effect and all the lovely things. It looks and feels exactly like in the real R22 videos I've seen. I'm not a real R22 pilot though but I have plenty of hours in helicopters in "other simulators". So yeah, a lot of people are going to have great fun with the helicopter! There is not ETA on the R22 but we mentioned that we want to get it out this fall/autumn. That means in less than a month I guess.
Hm, it seems to have issues when loading the aircraft. But I also see a few entries regarding vulkan.
Can you please delete or move the file C:/Users/Delfin/Documents/Aerofly FS 2/main.mcf so that aerofly starts with a fresh new config file? This won't delete your joystick settings but all graphics options will be back to normal.
And if that doesn't help please check that you have the latest graphics card drivers installed.
And do you feel a vibration or just the occasional glitch?
Could you maybe find an outside view and see if the "jolt" coincides with a sudden movement of a part like the elevator or landing gear? If you see a part moving just as you feel the jolt then it is an instability in the joints and we should be able to fix that.
