Unfortunately we don't have anything new to mention about multiplayer at this time.
It's been on our list of investigative features for quite some time.

its realy boring. Its on the list since Aerofly FS1 and i think ist never planed to realise it! 
Take a look on DCS World. Best VR integration i ever see in a simulation. Stable Multiplayer for realistic formation flights.
Missing multiplayer support is the reason why i fly in DCS and no longer in Aerofly.... what a pity....
