Hi guys,
many thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate it.
Actually it is my main target to describe ways for successfully using the existing tools.
This activates the community and hopefully some 3D specialists or graphics artists who could contribute to our hobby.
I'm more a generalist so I cannot do a substantial comparison of blender and ac3d.
But I suppose a blender plugin may come as well. I think it is important to base SDK on free tools like blender and gimp.
I talked already to IPACS about scale and rotation specification in the tsc file. They are aware of this point and eventually this may be possible.
I did not yet test multiple locations of an object, but this is on my todo list. Perhaps it is already possible and simple?
Scenery ground will be another task for the next weeks. I did not yet engage in this topic. But after aircraft conversion, aircraft repaint, object import this is the logical next step.
I can tell you that all the people from IPACS are very busy and fantastic things will come up. I look forward to the further development of aerofly FS 2.
Best regards
Rodeo
