  • Upgraded to RC7 Ultimate, but I don't have Las Vegas or 4D carrier sceneries.

    I upgraded from Professional to Ultimate and I can now fly the new models like the Goblin 700, but I only have 43 sceneries. I'm missing the Las Vegas scenery, the 4D Carrier scenery and a few others I guess. Do I need to re-download the whole thing again? I'm at version 7.4.7. I'm pretty sure I did not use Steam to download, I think I downloaded from the Ikarus website. -Tom in Colorado

  • Radeon HD 6450 for RC7?

    I found this site that rates and ranks all video cards. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php My Radeon HD 6450 card rates a score of 289. The Radeon HD2400XT rates a 122. A Radeon HD4850, the recommended card, rates 1035, and there are many many cards up at the 5,000 level. So in my estimation it's not looking good for either of our cards. The good news is that the HD4850 is about a $90 card, not a $200 card. The GeForce 9600 GT is a $40 card, even better value. -Tom

    I think it's Open GL 2.0

    Win XP
    Dell Optiplex GX280

    I have AFPD v1.11.21 (latest patch) and I got a lot out of it for many many years. The graphics and training features on RC7 look great. I'd like to see some heli training features like automatic pirouette and zero-crash bounce back in the air after a hit because crashing and respooling the blades is a waste of precious time when trying to learn something new, I know I'm going to crash about 1,000,000 times when learning to fly upside down and backwards! Can't wait to get RC7. Go Ikarus!
