sharklets on the 320
Jet-Pack, now that we have the UK, could you please add an Easyjet livery to the A320? that would be great!

Nope. I’m not running at 60fps like on my Iphone XR...
I have absolutely no idea how to get that smooth gameplay back. Any ideas to what I could turn off or on in Settings on my ipad?
Turn frame rate limit off.
I hope they add more cities because it looks really good and completely changes night flights.
I just found out that we already have two new international airports ... Tucson and Phoenix 😍✈️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Excellent job IPACS
Is there Falcon Field (KFFZ)? Really happy to see Arizona in the sim 😍
In case the aircraft is flown manually, yes.
Indeed, 10ft if it’s an Autoland.
In A320 flight computer in INIT / APPR it's BARO & RADIO what you are looking for. You can only set one of them (I don't know why) but in both case they have no effect in Aerofly FS 2019.
- BARO is your minimum altitude (airport elevation + MDH (minimum decision altitude)):
- BARO+100 Airbus callout is "100 ABOVE"
- BARO Airbus callout is "MINIMUMS"
- RADIO Airbus callout is "RETARD, RETARD"
- RADIO is 20
I'm sure they will add it one of these days (auto programmed in the flight computer based on flight plan maker of course)
RADIO and BARO is just a different source for the minimums and hundred above calls.
BARO is used to set a DA or MDA when doing Non Precision approaches or a CAT I ILS. Minimums will be announced with reference to barometric altitude.
RADIO is used to set a DH when doing a CAT III ILS for example. Minimums will be announced with reference to the Radio Altimeter.
The RETARD callout is automatic at 20’.
As an option please, I like the snap back.
Let’s wait until it’s finished and polished, we don’t even know what’s coming next anyways
I understand your position, I think having such a simple UI with complex aircrafts is really pleasing. I understand you cannot map every switch in the cockpit to a UI switch, and it’s not required at all since we don’t have to constantly interact with them. However I believe that the trim in particular would make a lot of sense. Maybe make it optional depending on the option for auto trim selected by the user for those with little space?
It’s just that IRL you have a nice little switch right under your thumb that you can use, while scanning and operating all the other essential controls.
Auto trim kinda feels like cheating and gives you less feed-back about what’s happening, for example if you have to keep a nose down input you know you are fast, etc
Display MoreThe autotrim on mobile sends trim signals to the aircraft if you keep holding up elevator or down elevator. This reduces the need to keep holding the device tilted and makes it easier to control the aircraft. It's very helpful for aircraft with a wide speed spectrum where you need a lot of trim. Of course the fly by wire aircraft (A320, A380, F18,...) already do this on their own just like in the real world.
The B777 does use autotrim but not directly. You trim it to a certain airspeed and if you then pull pull up and get slower you will need to hold back elevator.
If you turn the option off you will have to look down during the flight and either trim with the yoke switch or by manipulating the trim wheel.
If you fly on copilot or on autopilot the trim is also done automatically for you.
Please consider adding a two way trim switch on the UI, it is really an essential control in fast jets and being able to operate it properly (the trim is very hard to use with the fingers, especially if it’s a switch and not a wheel) would make the experience much nicer.
Thanks !
Yes that was the idea.
Weapons itself are a whole different topic, keep the kids in mind
Well that’s great! Looks like a lot of nice stuff is in the works.
And for the weapons... just for the looks, no live fire
The system we implemented can also bind a certain engine option to a specific livery.
That’s brilliant.
So for example, with this system, we could have an F-15 livery without the external tanks? Or an F-18 livery with pylons and weapons?
Freecam would be absolutely amazing. Aerofly FS 2020 is the most beautiful mobile flight sim out there. We need better angles to capture more shots.
100% agree, would really allow the beauty of the sim to be explored artistically
This feature is right on the edge of what's possible with the current flight plan implementation but we're planning to overhaul it at some point to fully enable these features.
Alright thanks, good to know!
Hi IPACS,
Today I experimented with inserting constraints in the FPL. It works correctly and they are displayed as they should be on the ND, however the aircraft completely ignores them. Are they not supported or should it work ?
Thanks for the video, useful trick!
Display MoreI have to correct my statement. We haven't yet sent it to the mobile app stores yet, we're currently testing the app in more depth. We found minor bugs during the testing that we are currently fixing before we send if off to you guys and girls. So even though this means you'll have to wait a couple more days it will be a higher quality update.
One thing that we're currently improving is the interaction with the throttle slider. With this upcoming update the throttle slider should leave the automatically extended spoilers unchanged and also the autobrake is kept active for a long time during the landing. This way you can hold down the slider just slightly for idle reverse and keep all the automated features active. If you don't arm the spoilers before landing or if you don't set the autobrake the slider should behave just like before, extending spoilers manually, manual braking and reverse thrust at high speeds.
The slider should also give better visual feedback with this upcoming update whenever the copilot is active or when the autothrottle is working. E.g. in the Airbus A320 the slider will turn green when you reduce the thrust lever position to the climb detent and the autothrottle activates.
Please keep checking our blog section for any news.
Thank You som much!
Finally we can expect some realistic rollouts! (While you’re working on the UI, can we hope for a trim switch )
Hello IPACS, sorry for creating a lot of threads recently.
The feature we need the most now is a trim switch on the User Interface. Trimming is one of the most important things in flying and in planes like the C172, it’s not an issue because the trim wheel is fairly easy to operate with the fingers.
However in the C90 B58 L45 777 747 737 it is very hard to trim.
it is always nicer to fly in trim but when for example you disengage the AP at 280 knots and slow down for a manual approach it is essential to trim in order to retain full nose up elevator capability to achieve a good approach and flare.
I believe a simple rocker switch somewhere on the UI at thumbs reach would be immensely useful.
Thank you in advance and please consider it sorry for the many threads recently.
Hi,
Would it be possible to modify the OAT and Pressure in the sim?
And if yes, could there be real time weather ( just wind/temp/pressure)?
or maybe just random weather (as long as there is a way to know it via an ATIS for example)?
