A good feature for aerofly would be the option to connect a second device that could show location and navigation. If airplay is ever integrated into the app this would be a good thing for the ipad to show as well as the controls.

Could we have an update for the latter (airliners) ?
4 options seem necessary to improve A320,737 etc :
- Pushback is missing and necessary in airports.
- The voice of the autopilot announcing altitude during the final approach.
- signs of the tracks and runways in major airports.
- an indicator of the ILS in the top bar (especially for iphone)It would be great
+1 for the autopilot announcing altitude on final approach.
Although this may be a bit naff it was kind of nice the way in infinite flight you could turn on the seatbelt and no smoking lights and also control the nav lights and those kind of things. Maybe this would be good in aerofly? -
Hi Gary, I found this as well when trying to listen to music while flying. It's annoying how you can only have either Aerofly sounds coming through or sounds from a background app.

It should come up with a green line to follow on the navigation part of the info bar. Its a shame there doesn't seem to be a way of using the navigation feature without the info bar.

Yes. It wont let me post this because it is too short so I had to write this bit.

Hi jan, thanks for the reply.
The highest pitch angle possible in the a320 is +30 degrees and the lowest is -10. I am not sure where it says the bank angle on the panel but I have attached a picture of the artificial horizon.

Sorry I forgot to put the version of aerofly, it is 2.0.3

A b-17 and Lancaster bomber would be amazing!

Hi jan, sorry I don't really know which one is which but I mean the number 10 on the lower section of the artificial horizon. If you pitch down to that line, you cant go any further down. I'm not sure if there is a limit to how far up you can pitch.
Overloaded thanks for that advice on the string instrument - I'd completely forgotten about that so that should help with the glider. I still think the rudder does have too much expo on it though as I have this problem on bigger aeroplanes too.
I just checked again for the sinking plane thing and it still happens. I think what is happening is that the plane is sinking through the model of the runway and onto the map image of the runway below. See the picture. -
A few more bugs - The throttle indicator on the info bar seems to include the airbrake in the percentage - it only shows 0% with full airbrake applied.
- How come the A320 can only go down to a 10 degree angle of attack?
- taking off on Sacramento Mather (the more southerly runway of the 2) the plane sank through the runway. I tried restarting the app and using a different plane but there was no difference. I will post some pics. -
The problem I find the with aerofly 2 rudder is that is has a huge affect in the middle of the slider but less on either side meaning precise control is very difficult.

I can try...
I know that somewhere on this forum overloaded posted a way of doing this but I can't remember where they put it. -
Some pics of the new P-38:

In my opinion, this P-38 is one of the best aircraft in the Aerofly series and a must have in every collection.
For some reason the images wont come up for me.

Go to MacDonalds where they have free wifi!
Lol! Unfortunately I don't think I have many macdonalds in the alps.
And I don't speak french very well so when they come for me asking why their internet has died I will just have to run. -
Aaah I can't update as I don't have internet for another three days the suspense is killing me!

No I have it on fully manual and it still behaves like this. Does anyone else have this problem?

On aerofly 1, the main annoying glitch was the controls confusion - it was annoying enough to stop me playing for a while. On aerofly 2 I have a feeling there is a new one of these annoying glitches.
The rudder is very hard to use precisely as it seems to have masses of expo on it; I find this very annoying for take off and landings as if you correct the direction of the plane with the rudder, it swings violently and when you try to correct that, you end up in an uncontrollable cycle of oscillating right and left. This is also bad in gliders as when you are trying to alter your flight path very slightly to get the best of a thermal the plane swings round and you lose the lift. The rudder was much better in aerofly 1; I don't understand why it was fiddled with.

I'd say gliders at the bottom, light aircraft in the middle, then jets and the corsair and at the top, the airliners. I also have an ipad 1 and I find that every now and then it starts crashing when I go on location or change aircraft menus so i just restart it. It works fine after that. Remember not to have both Aeroflys running at the same time and I also have to empty my app history thing.

Although I doubt me and my iPad mini will get the clouds they would be great for the air 2! They would add more dimension to the game.

It would ge good if they had a difficulty/simulation quality slider so that more experienced users could have more realistic flying and beginners could have dumbed down easier to control flying.
