The wind speed also changes with height. On the ground it's less than high in the air where there is no ground friction.
I would love this to be different, or maybe even have more settings when it comes to wind, like a wind shear option. I love to practice challenging landings, but even on the highest wind settings we have available now, landings are fairly easy as the turbulences are extremely weak on ground level.

The decrease in scenery quality is crazy. I love the idea of global but not for the price of loosing of one of the most important things Aerofly was about… Very disappointing.
It took you 8 months to release this update and you still didn’t address many of the bugs that have been reported here on this forum. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate new features. But some of these bugs have been going on for multiple AeroflyFS versions. Would be nice to see a bugfix update at some point to address all of these things. It’s rather disappointing to see. Nevertheless, congratulations for the new release.
8 months. 8 months between two updates. And this is still not fixed. Unbelievable.
In the UH-60, the HUD view (not the virtual cockpit, just the HUD) is in the wrong position. It‘s too far back and too high above the ground. You realize it when switching between the Virtual Cockpit and the HUD view. Problem occurs on the iPad Pro 12.9 2020.
