what flight stick? Have you updated all drivers and windows? Does Aerofly work without the flight stick?

Quite amazing work! I would not even know where to start

Most negative reviews on steam, come from people who think it's a game. There must be something IPACS can do to manage expectations in this field?
Anyway, i've given my positive review!

That helicopter is one hell of a blast! Nice! It would not be strange to have (maybe the guys from helisimmer can do them) some good instructional video;s.

I was actually referring to the ORBX add-on. But that seems to have been discontinued?

checking.... checking.... checking...

Speaking of, I thought somebody was creating cultivation for Switserland, what ever happened to that?

great find, but unable to retrieve if you don't tell what airfield and which runway you were approaching...

Scenery: West / South Germany (extending NL)
Aircraft: Saab 91d Safir

Reading a PDF in VR cockpit would be amazing. Imagine uploading the VFR map and being able to click on it to enlarge it in flight!

I've just bought Helgoland, because it could be a nice extension to the NL scenery. I was thoroughly underwhelmed though. The island itself was OK - even though I had expected more detail for such a small area. But flying to the mainland, there is absolutely no mesh for hight difference etc. You fly over a sea barrier which is about 20m high in real life, and it has no added quality at all.
I hope Aerosoft will revamp some of this, because right now the 20eu I've just spent on Helgoland would have been better spent on 1 good bottle of wine...

Anybody else feel they're sat too far back when first going into the DR400 in VR?
I certainly do. I feel like I'm sat just behind the seat, inside the backrest. And I have to reach far forward to grab the stick, So I always have to reset a lot.
yep, I have that feeling in most planes. I'm also quite tall (1.95m) so I always center my view a bit low so I end up higher in the cockpit. With the 172 for instance, IRL I easily watch over the glareshield and see the engine cowling, Where the standard position in AFS2 is, that your eyes are at the level of the glareshield.

YAAYYY, my favourite! (except for the asg-29, I still hope one day it will be technically possible to aerotow the ASg behind the DR400)

Great, I can't wait!

Try ridge soaring instead maybe.
For experienced pilots, that's a good option. For novices, not so much

I know I've been nagging about this, but I need some info again. In about a month from now I've going to give VR demo's at our gliding club. I just still can't find any reasonable thermals, I was just trying all around Innsbruck for instance, and found 1 or 2 with no wind and thermals set to high. Are there ways to ensure there are thermals that can be flown by people that fly AFS2 for the first time? (experienced glider pilots for the most parts, but also visitors)
