I have been always a kind and friendly kid (they say ). So, Santa Claus, will you bring me also 'Bella Italia' for Christmas please...
Oeps! Bad weather in Italy, hopes comes all good at your side with no storm-damages.
By these now I read you are from mid-Italy, regio Roma?
Great job Sylvain, will be a nice looking and vivid plane besides your fine C152 that I occasionally fly for short VFR flights. Thank you for the effort
you make to please the AFS2-simmers.
I have the Honeycomb yoke now received and configured. AFS2 see this plugged-in device as 'alpha yoke', the calibration and movement-accuracy
works fine but the extra switches that are available for alternate, battery, (magneto's)start, different light-switches aren't usable in AFS2 in my first
attempt to configure, I have also XP11 and in this FS, all switches and the startkey can well be configured and works accordingly like in reality.
The trim-levers on top of the left- and right handle works fine in AFS2 and also the buttons on these handles can operate the desired functions as
flaps, brakes and gears... The complete set is well build, feels solid and easy to mount and to remove (attach via a separate plate) on any surface.
The second HW-piece from Honeycomb(to be delivered begin 2020) will enhance my joy of flying as it will manage the throttle, wheeltrim, gears and
I hope can command some autopilot-functions as promised.
As I read you have only a 1GB Graphics Card, I suggest to invest in a more modern Card with at least 4GB of VRAM. I suppose that is the biggest issue in your actual HW-Config.
I had some time hands on with the Honeycomb yoke at Flight Sim Cosford. Nice kit. However I also had some time with this. Bit more expensive (£450 I was told), but very nice and superbly built. The equal of a Yoko I'd say but better in every sense. Out in December I believe.
I can believe that it's maybe a bit better than the Honeycomb but the costprice is for me also a factor (driving a BMW is also more enjoyable than a VW)
Thanks for the research and the modelling made sofar for the yet reasonable quantity of 3D-shaped buildings, monuments, bridges,...of Paris.
It is a pleasure now to fly around in this city and enjoy the views from above the many greatly made citymarks spread around a large surface.
If some caracteristic buildings or monuments are not feasable to reproduce in AFS2 is to regret but anyway a great thanks to all designers involved
that have made this addon a quality-DLC for shure. Again congrats for the effort made to please the AFS2 flightsim community.
In a previous posting I request a possible modelling of Musée d'Orsay. While flying around I see some ugly flat square objects that ruins the sofar magnificent represented Paris et ses banlieux. Le stade de Bercy(near the good done 'Gare de Lyon') is such example of a not-done building:
Fantastic work sofar, however I miss an important building at the shore of the Seine opposite to the Tuillerie Gardens(=between Louvre and Place de la Concorde): Musée d'Orsay as one of the major musea in the world for sculpture arts. It was formely a railway station.
Is someone willing to make a 3D representation of it like you see in the indicated Google Earth detail ? Appreciating any result, thank you.

The dwelling Rocks at Marble Canyon along the road to the North Rim of Grand Canyon
I have the scenery 'Paris-Intra Muros' for FSX once installed and used and found back on a drive. Looking into the texture folder it contains a lot of *.dds files named after well and lesser known monuments&buildings&bridges from the city. Are these dds-files a help for building AFS2-compatible models?
If so, I can deliver(mail?) the content to the interessées.
I am impressed by the vast area of cultivation added to the Paris area, however I have some issues to inform(please see this only as extra info) for possible future updates:
1. Modelling Le Centre Pompidou:
2. Modelling Musée d'Orsay:
3. Light place-shift for Hotel de Ville:
4. Some of the many low and flat blockformed constructions are misplaced and looks ugly:
Thank you for considering my suggestions. Regards from a virtual pilot enjoying VFR flights via the expertise of extra scenery makers for AFS2.
Thank you ZoSoChile for posting the video where the X-Plane Staff uses for the first time this yoke(+extra functions) in his FlightSim.
I also frequently use XP11.3x at this instance next to AFS2. I'm glad that in future update to XP11.40 this yoke will be incorporated to adjust.
So, hereby my 2nd request to the AFS-Staff, take contact with Honeycomb to ensure full compability of all functions in AFS2, thank you.
As I have ordered this yoke for delivery in a few months, I already have also ordered their other very good HW, see a first (review)look via:
Next to the actual well known brands for Yoke- and Throttle-devices, a new player is on the market with very competive products: 'Honeycomb Aeronautical'.
There new products beginning with 'Alpha flight Controls' is very promising to be a hit on this market and pre-ordering for delivery in a couple of months is successful right now.
Maybe wise for IPACS to be in contact with them for comptability with AFS2 next to their announcement to be for FSX, P3D and XP11.
I, personaly, has ordered one via aerosoft but I'm actual not shure if AFS2 will recognise this magnificent system(value/quality) once I plugged it in my PC via USB ?
As commercial viewpoint, it should be fine for current and later AFS2-customers to read that this HW is compatible with their flightsim next to the other players on the FS market as FSX SE, P3D, XP11 and probably next year's new Microsoft Flightsimulator. So, I advise IPACS to take contact with them.
Appreciate any advise on compability with AFS2, thank you.
Yes, just successful uploaded a screenshot, thank you Jeff for solving this issue.
Actually, try it now and let me know if the message disappears and that you can now post again.
Hello, I just tried to add a screenshot but the same message of exceeding storage limit remains.
I wished to share more screenshots today but encounterd follow message and read the link to the restrictions:
"You have exceeded your storage limit and cannot upload new images, you must delete existing images to free up some space"
Restrictions: max 100 MB and max. 100 uploaded images. I have currently 77 online shots but Cap shows 100.45MB in the Gallery of FS 2 images.
Never encountered upload-restrictions related to used space In forums of other FlightSim's.
Hereby the request to rise the storage-capacity per regular uploader to please the community, or store images older than, for instance, 3 months on another place.
Thank you and looking forward to a any reaction or reply from the forum-staff.
Any info about my remark/request please, thank you...
Why should you mix ? The Orbx scenery-Add of LOWI is nice enough regarding autogen, so no need for extra 'cultivation' here!
Exclude the area of LOWI in your selfmade Austria-cultivation as best solution, how to do that is out of my technical knowledge, sorry.
Looking forward to fly over he border of my country in a descent quality scenery. I live in Belgium and I look forward to see my regio(Flanders) also
in photoscenery quality, thank you 'christy' for future happy flights over 'La douce France'.
I don't get the video as well.
Did you use music which causes geoblocking?
Did you upload it as a private video?
Now it's OK.....was not finished in the proces of 'publishing' , sorry.....is now well playable in the original posting.
