Indeedy... Ikb which way from here to the Canyonlands?
You better start from runway 21 of the airport 'Canyonlands Field'. Aspen is to far east from it to start from, see map:

Yes, it is Aspen - airport-id KASE. I landed there after my Canyonlands adventure in Utah :

My first flight today over the new added scenery 'Colorado' leaded me to the gorgeous represented 'Canyonlands' in nabourscenery 'Utah', hereby a shot while flying the Beech Baron58:

Go in Steam at the AFS2 entry to the right panel and select 'DLC', then scroll to the bottom and click on the picture of 'Colorado'

I have reset my complete system, run again some general updates, rebooted the PC again...and...good news, FS2 runs again smooth as before.
So this issue may be closed as be solved. Thank you 'drhotwing1' for your support.

I have flying from the beginnnig of FS2 till yesterday without an issue. Just today, after a small (latest)update via Steam it occurs.
My system is a highend system with latest nVidia updates on my graphics card GTX970 Strix with 4GB graphics RAM.

Just had a new small update via Steam. But by performing two succeeding flights, the program+screen freezes and the (last?)sound remains playing.
No further reaction via any button or mouse-knob possible. Had to perform hard reset. The Area I was flying was the SF area and with 2 different planes.

The Milford area in Sth NZ would be a great place to start as scenery in Aerofly FS2. Like already proven quality by Orbx-FTX for FSX&P3D !

Fantastic to see the location that I visited as tourist in June 2010. Now and then recognised spots that I admired on groundlevel.
Crisp and clear movie you made and time-lapsed the not so special flighttimes, very well done. -
Thank you for this info 'drhotwing1'. I will experiment by moving to different locations.

Great extra US-scenery addition, however I miss some objects like bridges...see examples near Page via follow screenshots:

It should be fine to have extra 3D-objects added via update(s), thank you.
-
Great to have extra objects into a flat photoscenery like the aircraftcarriers do. But I request a preciser placement into the harbour of SanDiego. See the red indications, thank you for how to adjust the coordinates:

Fine made airport-scenery...and a request to the IPACS-team: after the great Utah-scenery, please make the State of Washington equaly fine so the integration of the airport is flawless because it looks now weird outside the airport-boundaries:

Ok, the total space remains about equal but via steam an extra 72GB was needed to download first. after the download finished then the files where put(most in replace) of the already installed and the the extra 72GB was deleted as space. That's the way steam-updates works and I got a message 'no space enough'. The solution was to move, other installed games via steam, to another drive with enough room.
