The only thing that I could recommend at this point would be to re-install it. It's difficult to figure out what the problem is. If it was working fine a couple of days ago and now it's not would indicate that either your FS2 folder got corrupt, or something on your system (antuvirus?) may be blocking that folder. Go in and check the security of your FS 2 folders and make sure it didn't somehow get blocked (Windows update maybe).

An updated user manual is coming soon
It will have tutorials and detailed information for all Aerofly FS 2 functions.

OK, please make sure that the DLC for Northeastern USA has a check mark in the box and it says "installed" on your Steam FS 2 page. This sounds like it got uninstalled or your install got corrupt.

I just want to make sure that you are using the latest GPU drivers?

The VOR and Navaids can be toggled on the map by clicking on the bottom left buttons (below the map)
You can see the airports in the region correct?

If I understand this question correctly, you purchased and fully downloaded the Northeast USA region, and when you move the map over to the New York area you can see the airports on the map but when you click on one of them to select your take off location nothing happens?

In the bin64 folder inside of your root FS 2 folder you will see different runtime .dll's these dll's are what tells FS 2 which mode to run. There is only one main executable that runs FS 2. Adding the parameter does not work at this time because of Steam needing to be open to launch a different mode other than the standard 2D mode. 2D mode(standard default mode) can be launched from Steam or by the desktop shortcut.

Right now only 3D buildings and airports have night lighting. In the future this may improve.
