Is there another d/l server for the SDK?
8-9 hours to d/l 600mb?!?!
This is not on my end.
Thanks
I just downloaded it again and it took 2 minutes.

This release in the beta channel is a fairly large download but doesn't add much to the space requirements as it mostly replaces files already installed in your Aerofly FS 2 folder. This update sets groundwork for an upcoming region release, fixes some tree templates, and replaces/updates some aerial images to newer versions so that you will have the latest ground coverage for your regions. Upcoming releases may be larger than normal and will add to the total space requirement for Aerofly FS 2 once the new region is available.
Once this release is considered stable enough it will be available in the standard channel as well.
IPACS would like to thank you for your continued support and patience while they strive to achieve the features most wanted by the community.
Yesterday posted by "Jetjockey10" at 17:34 a 10.9 GB update was made. My FS-2 game was 98.72 GB. And on the hard drive, had free = 191.94 GB. All this with a date before this download. Those 98.72 GB. I have them from the moment I finished downloading the game. How do you explain that? That in the time elapsed since the initial download, that nothing has been downloaded ?. Of course, I do not have any limitations, and I have "Allow downloads during gameplay" enabled. Also, Stem, answers my question, I am updated. How is this apparent incongruity explained?

Delfin,
this was mostly internal file replacements that improved some coverage regions for trees and replaced/updated some aerial images with newer ones. There wasn't a whole lot actually added to increase your HD data.
Are you using Jan's mod by any chance? Also, what version are you on? It should be EA3.80
If you mean when the glider tips to the side the wing goes into the ground, then yes.
It will be looked at.
This is difficult to diagnose sir. First step would to make sure that all of the drivers are the latest, and make sure that your controller is updated for Windows 10. You also need to explain what you did here, did you upgrade the same PC from 7 to 10 ? You are all over the place explaining this. This really sounds like a driver issue.
Also, what are your system specs in the system that you are running this on?
Display MoreI opened a ticket for this problem on ipacs.de.
They answered promptly, telling me to
"Please delete the user folder AeroflyFS2 which you can find here C:\Users"UserName"\My documents\
Then try again ".
So I did.
It fixed the problem, but of course all my settings and Jan's mod are gone. And I no longer have a Robin DR-400.
I wish ipacs support would have told me to just remove the problem files, not the whole directory!
Please only pick one forum to post this on. I just replied to the same one you posted on the Steam Forum.
Your problem was likely caused by the mod that you had installed, affecting the Cessna, and the DR-400 may need to be updated to work properly with the latest FS 2 version as well.
If you add either of these again and your problem comes back, you know for sure what's causing it.
I still have the same problem - I can't start on the ground. The C172 starts at 14000 ft. This is whether I start from the Location screen or the Navigation screen.
How can I check whether I have the latest beta release?
The version should be at EA3.80 now.
I replied to your post on Steam. Please go back to that one and respond. So that i'm not responding to you all over the place
This may be a new bug.
Those "transparent" images on the windows I believe are built right into the aircraft model. I'll defer to Jan on this one though, I could be wrong.
An update has been released to address the bug. Please test it out to make sure the issue has been resolved.
Yes, thanks, that worked! However, it seems that unfortunately this file takes care of more than just then reflections: everything outside seems a bit lighter and more white... this clearly works different than it does in FSX/P3D...
Yes, this setting affects the reflections on buildings as well.
If you wish to reduce the effects of reflections transparency in general without deleting files (which I wouldn't recommend) find the file: [graphics_glass_transparency][0.1 0.75] and change the numbers to your liking. You can find this in your main.mcf file in your documents/FS2 folder.
Yes, even using ESC to get back to the main menu, when I click START, the C172 is at 4000 ft, and the DR-400 is at 10000 ft.
So, it's not just the arrow that is bugged.
A fix is coming. Wait until it's released and see if working correctly after. If there's something else it will also be addressed.
I uninstalled/re-installed Aerofly, now everything is OK again.
But there must be a better way of fixing such anomalies?
As I have mentioned, a bug was detected and will be fixed in a day or so.
There was a bug detected that if you use the arrow on the upper left of the navigation/location pages what you chose as a starting point wasn't recognized. An update to fix this problem is coming (possibly as early as tomorrow).
Jeff
Thats the new "stable" version, i meant where do i find out if something has changed on the beta channel
The beta channel IS the latest version released to the public. The public opts into beta to assist in finding bugs in the release. Once the beta build is stable enough it gets moved over to the standard channel. There is extensive internal testing done even prior to beta but beta is in fact the first public release of updates.
