AFS2 has and continues to run well on my Samsung Tab A, my Samsung Note 2 and my Samsung J5. No problems or performance issues at all. So you can put me down as a Beta tester if you like.

There are more Samsung and Android users than Apple, so why not update that platform first?

Do you think they give seniors discount?

That looks great but not for older pilots I am thinking☺
It would be too hard to get in and out of.

Hmmm you could try what this dude did and connect it all to your joystick! His joystick must be a monster though cos the device is not small and it is heavy.

Nothing in the Cessna with my buttkicker. The sound is subdued compared to other sims. Not sure how it compares with real life.

I recently reloaded my Steam AFS2 including some sceneries from FTX Central. Absolutely no problems but I hear where you guys are coming from. I also have an FSX stand alone version with many many add ons. I did not bother to reload that and just use FSW for my complete world travel.
It is just so much easier having everything on steam. It is going to be very interesting to see where the upcoming new planes are going to be loaded from.

I was just thinking that here we all are waiting for the release of this plane when 22 years ago it was one of the planes included with the new FUII (Flight Unlimited II) simulator. I wonder how the flight characteristics of the upcoming release would stack up against the one from FUII.
For those interested, FUII is downloadable abandonware these days and it might be fun to find out.

I got an email from Orbx this morning saying I can get 30% off of X-Plane 11 and True Earth GB for X-Plane if I order by April 8th. There are some nice screenies on the site too and it says it is also for FSX but not discounted for it. It does not mention AFS2.
I am wondering how far away our version is then?

The same to you and thank you for all your work and the help you have given to all this year. Best wishes to all others too.

I think it was 21 nights. We did a cruise on the same ship Seattle to San Francisco first and that was 7 nights so we were onboard for 28 nights in total. It was a good trip with Hawaii, Fiji, Noumea and Vanuatu in the itinery.

Back in October we were on the Explorer of the Seas cruise ship going from Seattle to Sydney. Someone was very ill, the ship turned back towards the Oregon coast and the Coast Guard sent a big helicopter to medivac him to hospital. The helipad on that massive cruise ship is really tiny and the chopper had to do about 10 circuits while the ship maneuvered into the best position for him to land. In case of accident all passengers were evacuated from the forward facing cabins that overlooked the helipad and no one other than crew were allowed near the landing zone. That leads me to believe that landing on those tiny H pads is not easy even for the professionals. Good luck with your ship landings guys
