I'm working on a tutorial for the Concorde.
Excellent. Thanks.

Hm, I think this might not be possible due to the upload file limits.
How about just the panel images then?
Jet-Pack (IPACS) Could you post full sized high resolution images (4k) of the concorde on the forum? The new teaser images at Steam including the ones showing the panel look real interesting.

Ray
Personally, I would prefer that you finally finish Norway Autogen than a Concorde
I'm hoping the Norway Autogen and Concorde will be progressing concurrently. I'm expecting to wake up one morning soon to be greeted by a Steam notification of a new plane added to FS4 PC version. That would be the Concorde. Heck Jan is probably working on the flight tutorial right now.

Ray
As far as I know Krzysk has converted all of his models on GitHub
Thanks Jan. I am planning on starting to fly FS4 very soon. I guess the Concorde pulled me back into the fold.

Ray
Has any of the FS2 user-built aircraft been successfully converted for FS4 compatibility?

RayM
I'm not currently working on it, no. It's the next tutorial in line I think but it might still take a bit.
OK thanks. We do love your flight tutorials.
Ray
It was number 2 on Jan's most requested survey.
Is the 737-500 Flight Tutorial still on the todo list?
Regards,
Ray
Interesting, I’ve been sitting on the ‘4’ fence. This and Jan’s 737 improvement post seems quite compelling. I really liked the feel of mobile FS back in 2014.
I am looking forward to the B737-500 flight tutorial.
Well... there won't be any airports for now.
I misread your post. You only stated . . . "and add airport areas," (not necessarily with airports.)
Regards,
Ray
Thank you very much.
I think I will have a first full coverage version ready to share soon.
Looking forward to some new scenery with an airport. Thanks.
Hi Ray, 14k and ILS to the 08R or 09R or 10R or what ever the runway ident is hehe
Excellent. Thanks, Jan.
Ray
I didn't add the FMC programming to the tutorial yet. The flight was from Key West to Miami.
Thanks. and what ALT did you choose for the flight? Any specific approach into MIA?
Regards,
Ray
Alright, CRJ900 tutorial is now available:
Is there a Flight Plan associated with this new flight tutorial? I seemed to have missed it.

Ray
So you want a closeup view of the instruments, that's a valid point. But that doesn't mean custom views are the solution to this... That just means we need to improve the default camera positions and provide more options for you.
Imagine all aircraft already came with good cameras that focus on the main instruments, FMC, etc...
What views would you like to see then?
So far you mentioned a dedicated FMS view and the six-pack view.
What else do you want to see?
1. Straight ahead from left seat - zoomed for closeup of 6 pack or glass instruments
2. Slight right from left seat - zoom to avionics panel in GA planes - to set radios and AP
3. Close up of throttle / throttle quadrant to see spoiler arm/flap settings/thrust levers settings.
4. Zoomed up and slight right from left seat for Overhead panel in airliners. (might take two views)
I still like having a view from directly above an airport. Say 800 meters or so, to see the full airport runways/taxiways.

Ray
I just completed a quick test by using an old folder of HD scenery for FS2 for the Chicago KORD area. I have a 9 area, level 9 - 15 of the main airport area with some surrounds. The scenery folder is 1.93 GB in size. Should anyone wish to install it in FS4 I can upload it to flight-sim.org and make it available. Here is what it looks like in FS4. Scenery only, no cultivation or airport yet.

I live in Louisiana, I would like to fly in New Orleans as it is my home state, even though I doubt they would add that region.
You never know. The only reason we have South Florida DLC is because one of the IPACS team members liked to vacation at Key West.

New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Natchez, Mobile and SW Florida beaches would make a dynamite DLC area.

In theory, as the whole US is available on USGS for free use (as far as I know) someone could simply create additional high resolution tiles here and there, especially if there are only few areas affected.
That is correct, in theory, why don't don't you try a few as an example? I'm sure any additional HD scenery would be well received.
Maybe Chicago, Memphis, Washington DC. or any area for that matter.
