I think JFK could use some improvements, here's a view of IRL vs AFS4 Runway 22L landing; the green is low quality, and the water doesn't look like water.
Here is an easier image to compare the two views.

Where would you like to see the resolution being improved?
I suggest a metropolitan area in the USA that can be used as a bridge between the small New England DLC and the sliver of South Florida DLC. This could be the Washington DC, New Orleans area, Atlanta area, St. Louis area, Chicago area, Houston, San Antonio, or Austin, Texas, etc.

The tutorial voting is shaping up rather nicely. Keep it up boys and girls.

Thanks Jan, your tutorials are so useful. The more the better.

New tutorial for the Ju-52:
Excellent. Thanks for this one. Any chance a flight tutorial for the B 737-500 will be published?

LAX is completely remodeled and looks very nice. Is there a list of updated airports in USA?
Yes, there must be a spreadsheet listing all the airports in FS 4. Maybe IPACS will make it available to the community.

Ray
Yep, with all the upgrades and improvements the ole 737 Classic now has new life, especially in FS 4 with all those readymade Mission flights. I chose to fly the 737-500 mainly because I know how to fly the plane and there are 3000+ Missions specific to this old Boeing.
That being said, I plan to spend time flying in and around Norway, my old stomping ground and I would like to have a SAS repaint to show it off. Sure, I know there haven't been many (any?) SAS 737-500 flying in a very long time. But, as they say, there is no time like the present.
So what say, anyone game to contribute a new Scandinavian repaint for the old bird? I sure would appreciate it. http://www.flight-sim.org is waiting. Here is just one image of the -500, many others are out there.

I read in one of the posts that the FS 4 cultivation and scenery was very good in Norway. Thinking I would make a quick flight to check in out, I was stunned to see the airports for Bergen and Stavanger were totally overlooked. Hard to believe. Nothing there at all.

Thanks Jan. Appreciate you taking the time to explain.

Apparently a ton of work has been devoted to MISSIONS in FS 4. I was totally surprised to see the B737-500 is one of the prime airliners in the Missions. 3,215 total flights, wow. Using the CoPilot feature I have flown (in the jump seat) along on a couple of 737 airline flights. This is quite interesting, but, raises a few questions.
1. Can I view the NAV MAP while flying a Flight Plan to see progress? Maybe a window in a window.
2. Is there a Flight Tutorial for the new B737-500 on a todo list someplace?
3. Can a Flight Plan be exported to use FSWidgets maps for flight following?
Obviously, the B737-500 has also received some attention to details and a lot of upgrades and improvements for FS 4. Is this documented someplace? Maybe a Change Log. I am happy to see more depth in the FMS and a smoother flying aircraft. Still has some fuzzy (super low res) text on the panel creating distractions, otherwise it appears to be a modernized B737 classic.
Is there a link for an overview of the new on-screen icons? Starting with this . . .

Here is a downloadable pdf of Jet-Pack's post above. Download it and read it several times, it is packed with valuable information.
The Florida region is similar to the FS 2 DLC as far as I know. Just more even more buildings and trees and new night lighting for the airports.
Thanks Jan. I was hoping for an enlarged coverage area in FS4.

Ray
That is Miami, yep.
Excellent, thanks.
Does FS4 include the full state of Florida, not just Miami and the Keys?
Once our new lighting model is finished we will present images of our upcoming version. It's our goal to get most parts of Europe including over 700 airports into the next version.
Will this new lighting model and new Europe regions and airports be for both the mobile and PC version of Aerofly FS2?

I spent most of the weekend exploring the 3 Cayman Islands available for FS2 as freeware at Higgy's flight sim site. This is up to date high def scenery for both low and slow aircraft and helicopters in VR. Download some detailed tourist maps and plan on spending some serious time exploring Jake's work. This beautiful island scenery is packed with emerald green water, white beaches, cruise ships, animated sailboats, elaborate resorts, animated street traffic, and a ton of other details. 3 islands, 3 airports, and plenty of helipads. The Caymans are directly South of Cuba in the Western Caribbean. This location makes for some great cross country flights from the Eastern U.S. and especially Florida. I used Skyvector to make a short 3-leg VOR flight plan from Key West to Grand Cayman's main airport. I then used the CoPilot feature to follow the route in FS2 from takeoff to landing. Nice.

PROBLEM SOLVED.
Here is how to edit the C152sd.tmd file to correct the syntax error that keeps the airplane from loading in AF2:
use notepad++ or another editor and search for:
<[output_free] [StarterActiveOutput] [ ] [ ]
The location seems to vary with different file versions. emfrat found it at line 1187, I found it at line 1227.
You need to delete the brackets at the far right. Save the file. Restart Aerofly FS2 and go fly the freeware C152.
This error was found by MikeW (emfrat) with hints provided by Jan.
