Raymond
Thank you Jan, i will check it out 👍
Does the 777 have a go around mode?
And if so how do i activate it?
I do like this aircraft very much, thanks IPACS

Maybe some of these airports or bridges can be converted to be used in AFS2?
Of course the authors have to be contacted and approve first, . I believe only a few persons made a lot of this.
LAST NED HERFRA, means download using this link
Thanks Hartman 👍. Stetind is a popular climbing mountain. It is very narrow and steep on one side. I hope the mesh is good enough to make it fully visible.
Norway is very scenic in different ways all along its coast. The most famous are your Lofoten and as pmb mentions, Sognefjord, Geiranger, Hardanger fjord. Also the Lyngen alps north of Tromsø is very scenic.
Another very popular place is the North cape platau. Europes most northern mainland point.
But i belive this is way to much for you to make, and the mesh loads in batches close to 60 deg north on my pc making this area ugly.
Fantastic scenery 😃.
I am hoping for part 16 and 18 so the popular mountain peak "Stetind" becomes more visible ☺.
Are there any plans for these parts, or maybe there are not good images available?
It looks very nice, thanks
One question: is it possible for me to remove all trees in an easy way, editing a config line or someting?
In general i think the trees are to high and most importantly they are standing in the middle of many roads.
This Norwegian mesh acts like a girl with "her nose high" 😉
Since i am norwegian i really hope this mesh can be made correct since it makes the fundation for ortophoto, airports etc to rest on.
As you say you have spent a lot of your time allready try ing to get it right, thanks a lot for that 😃
Raymond
Thanks a lot Ray for your efforts
I did a trip along the Norwegian coastline all the way in the F18 at mach 1.7.
It locks generally very nice
I spotted two areas where the mesh only loads just before i am flying over it, so the mesh is there.
It seems to be a "gate" going north-south just west of the city of Tromso(maybe where both mesh areas meet?),
and the other is going east-west (east of the city of Bergen), (maybe where both mesh areas meet?, your south area and ipacs mesh ends at 60 deg?
Othervice it seems very nice
Raymond
Great Ray 👍
I am really hoping it can be done sucessfully
Raymond
Hi. I tried your mesh for Finland wich also covers northeren Norway, and it looked all fine
Are there problems creating mesh just north of 60 deg?
Ray, i hope you have not set the missing part of Scandinavia on hold?
Since there is no mesh in AFS2 above 60 deg, a mesh from you would be much wanted. Pay or free
No hurry, i just hope you can do it
Raymond
That is fine Michael
We know we are waiting for someting nice
Raymond
Great Ray, looking forward to it
IZ0JUB Michael, any chance yo can make photo coverage to the mesh coverage Ray made, continiuing into northern Norway/Sweden?
Raymond
I can not use it. It loads in big squares on my system, leaving empty holes in the terrain. I have no problems with any other scenery in AFS2.
Maybe it is to "heavy" for my pc?
Thanks a lot Ray
Any chance you can make a mesh covering the rest of Norway and Sweden?
Raymond
jetjockey10, can gou share what needs to be modified in the Dornier DO 27 tmd file to increase power? Thanks Ray
Ref : https://flight-sim.org/filebase/index…0m-mesh-norway/
This i great news that we now have a mesh for all of Norway.
But as the author points out and i can also see in the sim, it is not really useable north of approx 60 degree(allmost all of Norway is north of 60 degree). When i fly north i get large squares in between where the mesh does not allways load.
So the question is: does not the sim fully support mesh above 60 deg north, or is it a problem with the mesh(or maybe both)?
I hope IPACS or anyone else with knowledge can find a solution for this, as Norway is a really beautiful country and a great challenge to fly in, and a useful mesh is really the only major part missing now to make a greatl scenery ☺
Thanks Antoine.
These are the files i got after downloading Norwegian mesh data.
One DATA folder including these files:
one TFW 1kb
one TIF 99000kb
one OVR 27oookb
One METADATA folder including these files:
7 different files all 1kb
Is only my TIF file from my download needed to proceed?
Sorry i have not tried making mesh before, i am a complete newbee
"Did you see my article about Norwegian elevation meshes?"
Thomas, do you know if it is nessecary to use the program TransDem(payware) to convert the Norwegian mesh data?
Maybe it is only needed for that train sim?
Raymond
