I think it is like this:
If the ils freq is 111.10 you type: /111.10 on the mcdu and i sert it under LS/FREQ
I believe you should be within ils range for it to work.
Runway course you insert under CRS

Hi.
I have been using rc7 standard since last november with no problems, exept last 3 days it will not recognice anymore my MS Sidewinder joystick .
I am using w10. It still works ok in afs2. I have tried restarts of my pc and also remove/install again in my win control panel.
Any config file i can try to delete in rc7?
Thanks
Raymond
Merry Christmas everybody!
Thanks very much IPACS team: drhotwing1, Rodeo and Jan + the rest of the team.
Your support are outstanding!
The future looks bright indeed 😃
In the real A320 in the lower line on the mcdu prog page, isnt there thise fields: DEST UTC DIST EFOB, at least when flying?
DEST: destinasjon airport
UTC
DIST: total remaining route distance, aint this the same info as shown if hitting i key button(info bar?). can it easily be displayed here?
EFOB
Regards
Raymond
First of all, this sim is getting better and better almost day by day
Thanks a lot IPACS team!
In the future can we have "total remaining distanse to destination" activated in the A320 mcdu progress(prog) page?
Same info as shown if hitting i key button(info bar?).
Not a big deal at all but maybe not to complicated to implement?
I know you are very busy right now so maybe after you are finished with early access?
Thanks
Raymond
Tried this out and it now works
The frequenzy has to be fully entered using also decimals. eg 321.0
Ident(station name) can not be entered.
Thanks Jan!
Fantastic
Are you able to estimate any timeframe to release?
e.g seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks or months
I fully understand you can't promise anything, just what you expect at this moment
Great news Jan 😃
keep up the good work
Can manual adf tune be "easily" implemented into your new and very nice rad/nav lh mcdu page?
Did a new flight and it seems that power is reduced 2.5nm before the "D", so autothrust "changes its mind" again and accelerates before this mode kicks back in and works ok for the rest of the approach. Not a big issue
A few times i had this problem:
When passing the decelerate point on approach engine power is redused correctly. When speed is close to green dot power is then increased again and speed goes almost to 250kts before power reduses again. A bit annoying. Jan are you aware of this?
Can the F15 autopilot track the "heading bug"?
The F18 has a separate switch to move the heading bug, have not found a way of doing this in the F15.
Also a selectable "heading mode" is needed to make this work.
Did not find anything in the Wiki pages about the F15, i guess this is coming at a later time
Thanks for this update!
The F15 nosewheel steering has finally enough travel, nice!
Also the A320 has many fixes. The violent roll after autopilot disconnect seems fine now.
The rad/nav page is a nice addon.
A small issue with altitude capture, but you are aware of it as i can see in another post.
I have also had a.floor protection engaging several times after the last updates, never happened before.
Maybe it kicks in to early(too high speed)?
I did assign a button for a/p disengage(not the A button) and it works perfect, thanks!
Tried it on the F15. It seems to have a different steering system because my assignment didn't make a change on her.
Jan, can we get a tad more max steering angle on the F15? It would make it more useable on smaller airports
Regards
Raymond
It seems the A320 has become unstable in roll after the last updates. It seems to be most severe at low altitude, eg on final approach.
If i fly with a/p engaged and tracking an ils and i disconnect the a/p 4-5 miles out, the plane rolls sometimes to 90 deg bank in 2 seconds. Sometimes it banks left and other times it banks right.
I end up in a heavy nose and wing down situasjon with overspeed. I have watched the flight control page and can not see anything abormal before i disconnect.
Have tried restarts of AFS 2 and pc, no change.
Raymond
I can not figure how to turn nws to high after landing.
Where is the AP disconnect switch? I have tried to click on obvious buttons but notting happens.
Thanks
Raymond
Thanks, i didnt catch that update
