Great.
Thanks so much for this update.
Then I can access better ortho that I need in parts of Bodo Area, Norway.

"die beiden Mitautoren haben ihr Einverständnis zur Konvertierung erteilt. Grundlage bleibt allerdings, wie auch von Ihnen erwähnt, dass es Freeware bleibt und kein kommerzieller Nutzen gezogen wird.
Dann gutes Gelingen und viel Spaß beim Fliegen über EDDM."
These developers show the right spirit ........
Do you start in the north going south, or in numerical order 01 to 18?
Personally I prefer to start with 01 and north to 18. Then you get early access to an airport. Between the south (Bodo) and the north (optional airport) you can temporarily fly over the clouds.
Maybe these maps can be of some help?

I understand your point of view, but I don't see much difference between buying e.g. the Boston Scenery, soon Paris or even the Canary Islands, or making a voluntary donation to the creator in recognition of his work.
Boston Scenery is Payware. It's completely different from my contribution - the "Project Lofoten".
My Project Lofoten is Freeware - and then I mean literally freeware. "A thank you" - is great for me. If someone wants to donate to a charity or to "flight-sim.org" - that's just fine.
If anyone expects a compensation in euro or dollars - then sell it as Payware. The principle is really quite simple.
When it comes to the great Italy scenery - using Google maps and ask for money - seems somewhat problematic??
Hartman, if you later wants to continue developing scenery for Norway, i hope you continue from your Lofoten scenery going further south against Bodø city
Yes. If I can find a simpler solution (e.g.. accept poorer quality or access to good orthos).
Maybe Nick (nockhod) will find a solution?
So I now wait and see if Nick releases his new beta of his great tool AeroScenery - which hopefully contains "Here We Go maps" - before I possibly continue to create new scenery from Norway . Then I can get access to good orthos - that makes work much easier and faster.
"Scandinavia West" freeware mesh (19m) made by Taburet - is again available for download.
This is gold - so hope the vault is secured.
the area of Lake Como and the borders with Switzerland in the Italian scenario are not present
Schnuffelduffel has stated:
QuoteI'll do the rest of northern-Italy and the connection to IPACs Swiss later.
Thank you so much. This is great.
Project Lofoten_12, Norway, (last part) is soon ready for download. Then I consider Project Lofoten to be finished.
After that, I'll wait until Nick releases his new beta of his great tool AeroScenery - which includes "HereWeGo maps" - before I possibly continue to create new scenery from Norway (with the hope that "HereWeGo maps" will work).
Maybe I also can expand Lofoten area both north and south - which includes both Tromso Airport and Bodo Airport?
Anyone know of a relevant review of NLR3 Motion Platform + Aerofly FS2? Is it ok to just mount a chair?
Only less than 18k respondents (and the respondents are majorly their customers). The number of FS players in my country alone is more than that, and I doubt 99% of them didn’t take that survey. Not to mention many in others.
Agree.
For some years back the FSW-team (Dovetail) conducted an extensive survey - and concluded, quote:
QuoteInstead we have spent the last two years listening to both existing and would-be simmers alike. We have been intent on discovering what keeps you all simming, and what stops those who would like to get into flight simulation from doing so.
We have learned that flight simulation appeals to an incredible amount of people, but a lot of them find it too hard to get started with. It is our aim to reclaim and attract those would-be simmers, but in order to do so, we need to present flight simulation in a way that doesn't initially overwhelm them.
Who else can exploit this great potential other than Aerofly?
Anyone else experiencing the same?
Yes.
