Is it planned to implement motion simulator-capable telemetry at some point?
I'm not sure what you mean technically - but AFS4 works just fine with my Next Level Racing Motion Platform V3.

It is strongly desirable to get access to ArcGiS again.
Where did Norway go?
I really appreciate that we will soon have another main airport in Norway: ENBR Bergen.
Then I hope we will also get the last international main airport in Norway: ENZV Stavanger.
The fact that Aerofly FS4 is a flight simulator - is probably the reason why there were no injuries when an Airbus aircraft landed at Asturias Airport (LEAS) today.
It is speculated whether the placement of this tower at the end of the runway is due to a new creative EU directive?
Anyway - this is really a dangerous approach - which can be recommended.
<[string8] [extra_user_folder] [e:\aerofly_addon]> no longer works for me.
They could wait a year or two to finish everything, then boom! Kill the world!
I, for my part - would like to express a big thank you to IPACS for not waiting two years before releasing AFS4.
As mentioned - I really appreciate the opportunity to choose Missions. In a future update, it is desirable to have a searchable option (a good browser).
Because: How can I choose "Flights for Airbus" number 3400 - without getting "Repetitive Stress Injuries from Using a Mouse"? Can I select Flight number 3400 in other ways than scrolling down the page using the scroll wheel?
I really like the new option to select "Missions".
Extra great is "Time Skip" - which gives us the opportunity to move forward to the more active and challenging part of the flight.
What I experience as somewhat unfortunate with this version of "Time Skip" - is that the airplane is moved forward after a fixed distance.
Example "A" shows a perfect distance between two airports. "Time Skip" moves us forward to a suitable distance from the airport - and we maybe can complete the entire approach.
Example "B" shows what happens if there is not a perfect distance between the airports. "Time Skip" moves us too close to the airport - and we can therefore only carry out the last part of the approach (the alternative is that we are very far from the runway).
If it is possible to connect "Time Skip" together with data from "Navigation Route" - an option "C" is desirable in the future.
Example "C" shows - that after departure I fly up to T/C. When I get to Cruise Altitude I am done with the active part (then the passengers takes over). At this time - it would be nice to be able to press "Time Skip" and stop at T/D - because then the active part starts again (approach).
The optimum would be if it also was possible to use "Time Skip" from T/D and to each navigation point (ARR) down to the runway - as shown in example "D" (see route map). For example "Time Skip" to "navigation point 3".
And there are no roads or highways visible.
To me - roads and highways look more realistic from photo (like in AFS4) - than artificial ones - like for example in MSFS.
First of all: Welcome. I'm sure you will soon get good help here on the forum.
The biggest fail for AFS4 is the inability to generate user object, cultivation and airports at this point. This is a must.
Yes, this is absolutely essential to be able to "expand the world" - and new user experiences.
MartinM He certainly meant Switzerland only
There seems to be no cultivation north of ca 60 degrees north in Scandinavia. Is there going to be a update here?
..... or can we get access to an updated tool for this?
Could you explain me please, in which folder did you put the cult please?
Read closely: - ""elevation" and "images" ----> works perfect with the cultivation of Aerofly FS 4"
Cultivation for Norway
Cultivation for the southern part of Norway is excellent. In fact, very accurate.
It will therefore be very welcome to expand this further north as well.
Has it not been mentioned that IPACS has developed a new tool for this (cultivation)?
it will get more clear once we explain how the new system works.
Thanks. Waiting with anticipation and hope that the explanation will be easy to understand.
If there is great demand we could also add a user folder directory for user made custom missions.
Yes, please.
I am new on aerofly and on the forum.
Welcome!
The telemetry output was never intended to be used for motion platforms,
it is designed for 3rd party applications like foreflight, garmin pilot, etc. which require a low refresh rate.
Thanks for the feedback and clarification. But is better adaptation to motion platforms something that IPACS is considering?
Motion platforms gives a much better "flight feeling". I was tempted.
I'd be really happy if it was a lot faster
Yes, want it very strongly.
Is it due to a "design flaw" in Aerofly FS2?
Will this be fixed (further developed) in Aerofly FS4?
