I fly around South Australia quite a bit in real life and the seasonal changes in colour are quite dramatic, both on land and at sea. A few months ago Aerofly's did look very accurate, but now the season has changed with the recent rain, flooding & storms.

Thank you very much everyone! It was a lot of work to get the 737 up to the top 5 if not top 3 aircraft in terms of system depth and attention to detail.
What are your top 5 aircraft Jan?

Impressive images. Hongkong airport is planned as one of the next projects as well.
This is great news, I am currently on a flight to Hong Kong (VHHH), will this be included in the pack? Do you have an estimated date for release?

Do you have addon scenery installed, my imagery looks just like the first screenshot.

Excellent job on this latest update, the only issues I can speak of are a lack of approach, runway and taxiway lighting on the 10,000 odd additional airports. This truly opens up Aerofly to the rest of the world and future localised scenery and airport development. Fantastic.

Thanks Jan, I lowered the Texture and Image Quality down a level and that seems to have done the trick.
Do you have any information on what each level of setting does, so the user can tweak the settings to optimum performance vs quality ?
i.e. Terrain Image Quality - Max = ???, High = ??? and so on ...

See attached, thanks

Is there anyone who can help with an issue I am having, whereby the screen freezes when on the ground and within the vicinity of Heathrow.
Before the crash I am easily getting 50-60FPS+, I then get a couple of stutters and then the sim freezes.
It sounds similar to the South American issue CTD in some South American areas

With an A380 included (PC version too?), major EU & US airports with some life in the skies above them (i.e. weather and AI) all of the key boxes will be ticked. The addition of addon regions from various parts of the world later down the track (Dubai, Singapore etc.) will be the icing on the cake.
Did you also see the steam sale for AS2 finishes on 1st Dec, could this be a clue for when we can expect the new PC/mobile release?

Great scenery ! Which file is the Cairns cultivation in, I downloaded QLD part 6, but Cairns is not shown, I assume it must be in one of the other files?

I rolled AFS2 out of the hangar the other day after a few weeks of flying the other sim. What I noticed was just how fluid everything was, the flight model, the instruments, etc. Yes AFS2 does have it's flaws (no weather to really speak of, lack of global international airports and global imagery), but as I see it, it still has great potential to give the other sims a run for their money and become the sim of our dreams.
We just need IPACs to dish out another airliner (A380 perhaps), add some more international airports (London, Dubai, Sydney etc.) and implement a plugin weather engine (e.g. TrueSky), then combined with 10M Sentinel global imagery ... Job done.

+1 , but also for the PC version. We have the A380 and Emirate's it's largest operator. It would be a perfect match with the UK and US regions already available.

No worries, it will be worth the wait I am sure. Looking forward to Faro

Looking great Colin, do you still have Tenerife, still in development?

Looking great ... can't wait.

I know it's a huge undertaking and would be quite large project for someone, but the case for a Heathrow airport scenery is compelling ...
1. Most airlines represented in AFS2 either fly from or to Heathrow, e.g. A320, 777, 747
2. The recent UK freeware project (ortho & cultivation) provides for a base scenery for the surrounding area.
3. It is central to all the existing payware & freeware scenery.
So how about it scenery developers, lets give Heathrow the attention she deserves ...

Great to hear we will be getting SIDs/STARs, will there be any chance of any new liveries for the tubeliners ?

Jan, the tm.log has many errors, but none towards the end of the page, more-so in the middle. Is this just errors I had a while back, or does the tm.log write itself with each session in AFS2?
Steve I run AFS2 in 2D, as I have quite a dated GPU. I usually see between 50-60FPS at Liverpool & Leeds/Bradford airports. BTW both are fantastic sceneries.
After a bit of trial and error & process of elimination with removing recent scenery installations, I think I have found the issue. If I remove the Palma scenery, Liverpool & Leeds/Bradford jump back to 50-60FPS.

Working one minute and now when flying to/from Liverpool or Leeds/Bradford I am getting sometimes as low as 2 FPS! Replay's work fine ... Every other IPACs airport is fine, including the FSPort airports and new Ibiza & Palma airports.
Has there been an update ? Any help would be much appreciated.
