Hey great stuff, just thought I 'd mention there is a weird building shooting up extremely high just NE of Dunsfold Aerodrome.

I seem to have bits and bobs in various folders. Is it possible (and if so, where/how) to have all extra downloaded stuff, as in not from Steam, installed in their relevant sub directories but all under one parent directory and not on the C drive?
I hope that makes sense.
Thanks.

I just deleted main.mcf which looks to have fixed it.

I tried that first thing but sadly no joy.

GPU seems correct, but TM file has lots of error about "lights" and some other scenery, but I haven't moved anything and it used to work...
-
For some reason, when I click play it says "loading scenery" then just closes, no error message or anything. Happens in 2D and VR. Tried verifying files, but no help.
Beyond a complete reinstall, can anyone offer suggestions? Thanks

Thanks for replies, Arrow sounds the best choice for me I think. Also considering Lukla...

Please help me decide which of these three to choose from in the Steam sale.
I'm not a real world pilot and like something simple that I can learn and fly realistically.
For VR use only.
Cheers!

I know I asked a long time ago, but any further thought to adding 2 axis for rudder please, to allow us to use driving pedals? Thanks.

I know it's a very obvious answer, but when you went back in, did you load from the slot you saved to? Sorry it's the only answer I have lol.

That's good news, I wonder when it will become available to buy again.

OVR Toolkit looks to be pretty good.

Awesome
so many A320 updates... wish I knew how to fly it lol.

I was so close to ordering the Reverb, then the Cosmos bomb dropped, could be the one to replace my Vive Pro.

how did you get to play the game on the Quest, I see the Quest storage capacity is 128GB, i checked my AFS2 folder and it is saying 145GB.
It doesn't install, it runs on SteamVR but puts it to the Quest over wifi instead of your HMD over cables.

How is the screen clarity compared with Vive Pro?
Well it's down to whatever bitrate you can set ALVR to. With my free router from my ISP I had a pretty clear pic indeed, but you could see compression was there, certainly not on par with the Pro. I can't imagine it will ever replace a true PC HMD for sim use, but fantastic none the less.

The Quest is truly an amazing piece of technology, now made even better by the ALVR app meaning you can use SteamVR on it, totally wirelessly.
Takes a couple minutes to install (plenty YouTube vids) and as your router is 5ghz you're good to go. It's early days so it will only get better, it's on Alpha 3 now, but already it's amazing. I was playing Gorn in another room from my rig and base stations, with plenty of room to move, and it looked good and ran pretty smooth!
It will not replace my Vive Pro obviously for sim use, but the ability to use Steam VR wirelessly on it could eventually mean the Rift S becomes redundant thanks to the resolution and OLED display of the Quest.

In the Baron 58 in VR, the yoke is basically almost in my lap, and my knee is where the throttle is. To put them high enough to avoid this, I pretty much can't see out the window lol. It does feel extremely cramped too.
Anyone else think scale needs adjusting or controls height or something?

I haven't tried downloading any of his aircraft yet, do they support VR hands?
Thanks.
