Although with over 2000 files, deleting the mask whenever there is a duplicate file will take forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rodeo, just doing that but it seems a number of the files with the same name are different in size, so do I keep the larger or small files?
Thanks

Hi Rodeo,
1. No overlapping areas. Was 2 areas meeting in the middle. The SE longitude on area one was the same as the NW longitude on area two, in the TMC.
2. No overlap, so as I say, SE area one for example would be -0.30 longitude on TMC, and NW of area two also -0.30.
3. Yes, first area in a in images/001, second in images/002.
Thanks

Oh and mine is in UK, nowhere near any DLC.
-
Should there be AIC files in images folder? I only have all the TTC files.

Ah now confused... I though to connect areas use TMC smaller than images and round up/down to 2 decimals, then next adjoining area download again larger area than TMC, and start with same long/lat as required depending where joining
-
Ah so seems OK now, my cock up was not factoring in my second tile the SE corner was now longitudinal East not West so I round up the decimal instead of down thus making TMC marginally larger than image.
-
But TMC should be smaller than image to perfectly join up places apparently.
I think mine was other way around and maybe that's what u meant? Image smaller than TMC
-
But it doesn't complete, managed successfully before, something must be off I guess
-
Well I think so, do u know what was wrong on urs?

Geoconvert running...
Percentage complete: 162.727%
Num level: 9 of 6
Current level: 13
Num tiles: 191 of 110

Oh yeah I hadn't even thought of that, good point!!!
What surprised me was flying over Windsor UK, pressing landmarks button on my yoke and all the places came up!!! So awesome.

Thank you, was worried I had wasted a lot of time... I shall continue my mission to cover the UK at res 0

Having downloaded 2 adjacent areas on FSET, I forgot to download larger than needed so as to easily align in TMC file.
If I leave all downloaded files from area 1 and area 2 in the input_aerial_images, can I use a TMC filee that spans both, or is there something somewhere that says no because they were seperate downloads (perhaps how it names files etc)?
Thanks.

Thanks Jeff, I will try with TIF and BMP before changing all to TIF if required.
-
After exporting to TIF, do we need the original BMP still it was created from?

Thanks yes I meant the grey tiles. I know how alpha now, glad I checked before deleting, cheers.

Wiki says just copy over image and inf files, does this include the thumbnails for any reason or just delete them?
Also, blank (all grey) tiles, can they be deleted or need to be made transparent so as not to be missing a file before running the geo tool?
Thanks
