Ah indeed, without VR it works perfectly!
Thanks.
Ah indeed, without VR it works perfectly!
Thanks.
At the Fort I see one manatee moving about. The others are static is are all the people in mid walk. Should there be more animated objects than one manatee?
Not moaning, just want to check mine is working as it should. Thanks.
Integrity checked and does in both. May be a SteamVR thing, seems lot of people are having a lot of issues since the last update. Mine is very stuttery now.
Ok thanks.
Would it be possible to increase the size of the grab area? My seat, and no doubt others, is wider than in the R22, so I have sit far to the right just to be able to take hold of it with my VR hand. Or I have to move head left, recentre view, grab it, move back, it's really a pain!
I know almost nothing about flying a helicopter, but does it have a kind of twist grip throttle? Appears like it wants to rotate but barely moves if at all with VR hands, or what movement should do it?
I play in VR, any time I make a change to graphics, when I click to go back to main menu, the game closes. No error message or anything. When I load the game it remembers what I changed but it's a little annoying and never used to happen.
Any ideas?
I have Fanatec V3 pedals and sadly they do not bind correctly to rudder axis. Has anyone managed it, perhaps editing an .ini or something?
It may be that one comes up as inverted.
Thanks
Oh man, I got my motion seat just in time
Plus I have Florida, but not gone there once, been waiting!
I have the Spitfire for IL-2 which is pretty cool!
I do wish I had got the DCS one instead now with the new campaign for it,
...a Spitfire before ORBX TrueEarth GB South comes our way!!
I don't know if it's even possible, but if it is, for the love of everything just and decent, please someone bring that Merlin engine note to Aerofly.
I think this should be made a sticky or whatever in the forum.
I bought ORBX Netherlands in the sale and decided instead of jumping to all the best bits and whizzing through the times of day, I will simply have Pilot Journey start me somewhere in Netherlands, and have it let the scenery unfold for me as I go through a career.
Love how it sets many things now in game, and random time of day. Had to change one a bit as it had me flying a banner over Touge quite late in the day and nobody would of seen it lol.
How does the tree setting in graphics options effect ORBX scenery?
Thanks
Video with Pilot Journey, hope you don't mind perestain.
It's a bit of a strain to permanently hold the Vive grip buttons when holding the virtual yoke.
Any chance of there being a toggle option added ever, or is there a way now that I don't know about?
Thanks.
One small addition would be to pick a random time along with weather conditions as opposed to UTC all the time.
Of course I could just put in any time I like, but the whole point is the choice being made for me lol.
Well I love this. I haven't played in a while, was waiting for ORBX sale or the helicopter, but this is drawing me back in.
It started me at Pheonix Mesa Gateway, and I transferred a Pitts to Falcon Field in a beautiful sunset.
I copied the limited weather settings that there are, including Cumulus clouds which I usually have off in VR, but flying low and not paying much attention to them they actually added to the realism.
I will be honest, took me a few tried to land the Pitts, but wow just reminded me of what an awesome experience this sim is in VR.
Thank you for this!
This sounds awesome!
About to give it a go.
Hmm doesn't seem like would be a huge jump from a 1080ti.
Still, I can see myself selling my 1080ti and Vive Pro for a 2080ti and 5k+ sooner rather than later!
I'll have to watch that Spitfire film. Just heard Geoffrey Wellum has died. He's interviewed in most of these. https://news.sky.com/story/youngest…m-dies-11442932
Sad news, and yes he is in it. Will not be long until any of the Spitfire veterans are left.
